  • Hi damjancd, have you tried using Intel XDK instead of Phonegap/Cocoon?

I've tried all 3 at some stage in my C2 career and find intel XDK easiest to work with. It used to be a pain in the butt it's gotten a lot better over the past 3-4 updates. If you haven't tried it and you want to check it out I've written some step by step tutorials on my blog. It's pretty straight forwards but there are a couple of little things to be aware of

  • Hi everyone,

I thought I'd put a proper post in here so that anyone searching the "How do I...?" forum for answers on how to publish to iOS/Android can find my tutorials easily.

I had tons of problems publishing my game on iOS and Android and even more trouble getting Facebook to work properly on these platforms. Over the past few months, I have made lots of progress on this so I decided to write down everything I did on my blog. All this information is 100% free and available to anyone who wants it! Hopefully it will be useful for others who are having the same problems. Feel free to check it out if you're interested and let me know what you think in the comments

If any of you are interested in a similar tutorial on how to publish to Android and how to get Facebook working on mobile, I've written tutorials on it on my blog. It's also got a section on publishing to iOS which may answer some of your questions in this forum.

I'm currently working on a tutorial how to build custom highscore tables into your games. Happy to take suggestions for future tutorials too

  • jbmoyer are you testing on iOS 10? If so I know there's been a few bugs with version. I believe the Intel XDK crew are aware. If you're not testing on iOS 10 you shouldn't have any issues. I had some trouble exporting to iOS myself so when I finally got it working I documented my steps in my blog. Feel free to check it out if you're interested (link in my signature)

  • Hi SaRaB Not sure if you found a solution to this but I went through the same issue. I've written a tutorial on it on my blog. Have a look if you're still stuck. Link is in my signature

  • Hi everyone,

For the past few weeks I've been blogging about my experience with Construct 2. I've had a pretty hard time getting everything working well but I'm happy to say my game is now published on iOS/Android. The game works well and has full Facebook compatibility (log ins, sharing function, Facebook specific highscore table etc.).

The main purpose of my blog is to share how I published my game and how to get Facebook to work on mobile devices. I'm hoping it will help other developers bring their creations to life

Feel free to check it out at http://www.megagamestudios.com/vegas-blog

If you want to see how it all comes together in my game you can check it out on your browser or download the app on your phone/tablet. The game is 100% free and has no ads

  • You'll definitely be able to share the app and you might be able to hack it so that you can check if a user has shared the app or not. I'l post a really detailed tutorial next week Stay tuned!

  • signupdemo it sure is! I even found a way to implement the sharing function properly (it has been pretty buggy in the past). I published another tutorial / blog post today. I have one more I want to finish before I start working on the Facebook one. Will try to get it done next week
