Tom's Forum Posts

  • Thanks for the suggestion, we do read them all. We have no plans to expand the free edition, we feel the balance is about right as it stands.

  • For several days now, I have posted a topic that contained an image that has not yet been approved. I think it is very awful to wait so long to get an answer. Remove the need to approve the topic. No one in this forum is going to post pornographic images or post political content.

This restriction will reduce for you as you post more and more and license holders don't have these restrictions. You'd be surprised at some things that are posted, the system can be a little inconvenient for new authentic users but it's effective at stopping a lot of spam.

  • > (it's weird but i've never had access to the "Edit Post" feature for Forum posts, no matter what device (PC/Mac/Phone) and what browser (Chrome/Edge/Firefox) I use, no matter if I'm in incognito mode, if I disable all chrome extensions or not. So pardon me if there are a lot of typos as I can't edit and preview my forum posts)

I think that's due to you needing to post more, it's a restriction for "new" users lol

    Just 9 posts, perhaps 1 more :P

Can't check thresholds right now but I think this is right, another few posts and edit should be unlocked. This is because we had a lot of spammers posting normal content who would then go back and edit their posts with spam links.

  • Hello!

The freelancer should have the license, but if the company you are working for wants to buy it for you that's OK.

If you are a business of any size or type, you must buy a business license. This means if you are registered as a business or freelancer in your country with your government. If you are operating as an individual with no official business registration with your government personal edition is fine.

Published games are unaffected when plans expire - you would only need a plan again if you need to make changes to the game/re-export etc.

    Please report all bugs here:

A huge amount of developer time is spent going through bug reports and fixing them as they are reported.

And we're not multi millionaires, far from it!

  • Thanks, fixed for next release

  • Should be fixed now, can you confirm?

  • Try Construct 3

  • You do not have permission to view this post

  • It renews on the same date each month - if you buy on the 14th March, it will renew 14th April.

  • Do you have any browser extensions installed? These can often break web content like this. If it works in incognito mode, this will be why.

  • We can theoretically increase arcade upload size to 200mb, but I think 100mb is enough for now. 200mb for a game delivered via browser is pretty heavy and I don't think many casual users will be expecting such heavy loads (remember people might be on networks with metered bandwidth).

  • Thanks for the report, this is now fixed for the next upload.

  • I beleive I've just replied to you - I'm sorry you had to wait but we typically don't work weekends so you were a little unlucky with the timings there.

Once it's up and running, email me back to let me know and I'll issue a small refund to make things right.

  • We understand Construct 3 is relatively expensive in some countries in the EU, I'm afraid due to EU law we must charge the same in all countries in the EU - this makes pricing a tricky balance.

  • We don't have any official Discord plugins, but there are a couple of third party ones that might be what you're after:
