    I want to show interstitial every 3 min and question about your plugin: how frequently i need to preload interstitial?

    Or i can just start "load" action directly before moment of showing ad? Or no need "load" action at all? Your example does not contain it.

    Same for rewarded video: need i preload it periodically?

    Hi SparklingAir,

    You need to have the Interstitial/Rewarded Video already preloaded when triggering the "show" action. IMHO the best approach is to preload the first Interstitial at start of the game/layout and then everytime the current Interstitial is shown (On Interstitial shown), start preloading the next one. But it's up to you how and when you preload, just remember that you need to have it preloaded before showing.

  • Once the "Restore Purchases" successfully completes, then any attempt to purchase the item that user already have purchased in the past, immediately results in triggering "On purchase succeeded" without popping up any payment popup.

    So in other words, the store detects that the purchase has been completed in the past and automatically triggers the "On purchase succeeded" event.

    Error occurs while trying to preview or export a project with remote dependency.

    There are literally no events in the capx. There's only the official AirConsole plugin added which has a remote dependency.

  • Does it work with regular HTML 5 export? let's say pre-game ad then between levels? I guess it would have to use adsense because admob is mobile only. ( By the way is admob mobile only as in .apk and ios wrapped, or does it work on mobile with html 5 games ).

    I have a dozen games ready to go soon, and really need to look into this and figure out the best solution.

    Ultimate Ads is AdMob based plugin which means it's for mobiles only.

    I do plan to make an ads plugin for web games in November.

  • My Ultimate Ads plugin works both with C2 and C3. For PhoneGap, Cocoon, and Cordova CLI. It's not a free plugin but it works and even supports Rewarded Video ads.

    I'm happy to help in case of any issues, as a full-time programmer I keep all my plugins up to date all the time.

  • does this work with the cordova builder in construct 3?

    I already contacted Scirra in regards to this and it will most probably work soon. C3 has by default blocked all third party Cordova plugins, so I requested to whitelist the one my plugins use. Will keep you updated when it gets whitelisted.

  • Turns out my folder still had an old config file in it from before adding the ads, and from before r246. So when it exported and put the config somewhere else, I didn't notice. Can confirm it's all working now!

  • Exporting to Cordova as the FAQ said. Plus it's just my normal export process.

    Can you confirm that the zip you upload to PhoneGap contains the config.xml file? Previous C2 release (r246) had a bug which caused config.xml to save somewhere else.

    Also, can you try with the example capx I provided?

  • any idea why I can never get any ads to load?

    I have it set to test mode in the property's, and these two very simple events

    The second one never gets called. I've tried the same for banners and rewarded videos.

    Also tried the "On Loaded" event instead of the "Is Loaded". Still nothing.

    Does it matter I'm running on localhost for testing and not actually an exported .apk?

    Hello KeeghanM,

    Test mode uses Google's test ad units instead of yours. Still, same as all other strictly mobile-related features, it won't work on localhost. You need to build an apk and test on your device.

    On Ultimate Ads store page you will find installation details for PhoneGap and Cocoon under the FAQ tab.

    Please follow the guidelines and Ads will surely show up. In case if you'll still run into any difficulties, just let me know.

    one question: is there a way to make sure the video is a certain length?

    I give my players a certain amount of coins but I noticed some of the videos are only 15 seconds where others are 30 or more. Is there a way I can set this? I didn't see it in AdMob Ad Units.

    There is no way AFAIK. Google is picking videos automatically each time. It's not a matter of plugin, it's simply not possible.
