  Wow. originally I was VB.net programmer. I even developed a software IDE that lets you use almost any language in combination with any scripting language providing special features. I had heavy HTML and server side scripting knowledge. But when I starting to look for the right environment to develop games, I chose C2, after extensive research. In addition, I continue to try new solutions and development environments, but the guys from Scirra continue to keep C2 at the head of the curve with continuous MAJOR additions and updates. I've found it to be the most robust development environment there is in it's class. I've been developing a range of games with C2. Most are for the mobile web. However, I'm also developing a pseudo 3D game with C2, that other developers told me I can't do in a 2D environment.

  That's awesome! Using the window.scrollTo (0,1) event in javascript helps but it occasionally hangs, however a reload of the game resets it. I'll be following up on this....

  That setting adds HTML based tags in the index.html which don't apply to IOS. I use an additional JavaScript in the index.html, you can see a tutorial here : https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/877/hiding-the-address-on-mobile-browsers. This only applies if your game is mobile web.

  Just updated to Apple iOS 7.1 on my IPhone 5c. Seems to be and improvement especially with the browser hiding the address bar. It's already reported some Devs are getting a grey bar on landscape games turning to portrait and back again. I use a set of JavaScript's that trigger a window.scrollTo (0,1) event, with a small range of different conditions, and it snaps it back in.

  Overall, seems like an improvement.

  I've making a pretty high end pseudo 3D game with Construct 2. When I started it, I was told it couldn't be done in 2D. Construct 2 proved it was up to the task. But more importantly, the software never stops being updated or evolving. I could not have made a better choice.

  rex plug ins has a number of data and storage plug ins that you might employ. He has a freeze layout plug in that lets you save the layout or non globals... I was thinking you might save and persist the score only

  Yes u can. There are several sites that offer virtual Macs that you rent for something like 20 bucks a month. You use it like a Remote PC product. I had one book marked, but can't find it. Here's one http://www.xcodeclub.com/ . Try google, you'll find a ton of affordable ones...

  I had a similar problem, but don't remember the particulars. However the Clay.IO worked great when tested, just remember to check not to invoke login option on your Clay.IO dashboard. Wish I had more to help. Good Luck

  You need to use webstorage plugin. Somewhere there is a tutorial, but cant find it. If you sign up with Clay.io, you can use there plug ins. its pretty easy. Or else there is a leader board plugin.
