  • I mean:

    • easy integration
    • do not require account from user (so clay.io is not the case)
    • works with CocoonJS

    any ideas?

  • much depends on users geolocation. I guess ArcadEd have more 1st world, so good fill rate. In case of normal banners you have always high fillrate because of AdMob ads and AdSense backfill.

  • DUTOIT gave you examples

  • ad only in menu = no one will click it

ad on level bottom = more clicks

Fullscreen ads = in my case 11-12% fillrate so I removed them

story of Flappy Bird is nice, but treat it like fairy tale. Why? Because it's 1 case for thousands independent developers. And with 50,000$ daily - this guy can already retire, especially in Vietnam :)

  • using Construct 2, in mobile application :)

    Is it possible?

  • there are 100+ Flappy Birds clones on Google Play,

does this topic still give good downloads rate?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
    • bad hero animation
    • bad coins animations
    • looks bad on Firefox
    • looks not playable on Chrome
    • don't use drugs and Construct 2 at the same time :)
  • as BluePhaze mentioned: you can't generate Android or iOS file directly from Construct 2. Anyway wrappers are now good enough (CocoonJS) and getting better (Crosswalk)

  • You can freely publish on Google Play. You don't have to show your income to Scirra :)

You can use CocoonJS or Crosswalk for Android export (you can't use external SDKs, only Construct 2 + plugins)

You can use PhoneGap to get access to Eclipse, but PhoneGap is slow

  • Samsung Apps allows only ads from their own network,

and C2 does not support their SDK,

so as for now you can only put:

    • free app without any ads
    • paid app
  • My general advice: take only serious brands (Samsung, Asus, Lenovo, ZTE, Xiaomi) and avoid other. In my case 2 good tablets from two different companies (one dual core, one quad core, both 1280x800, 1 GB) got not responsive touch after 2-3 months of using.

"For example, I can't add my ID anywhere in the dashboard section of MoPub as far as I can tell."

    big grey tab NETWORKS

    AdMob network

    Edit Network

"Edit Section" button over "Set Up Your Inventory"

put your AdMob ID in right place and save changes

remember to setup 0.01$ eCPM on NETWORKS / Segments

  • I mean that from paid options, only CPI is good. But in your case the best would be: make simple "ninja" runner game (use some of existing assets),

put BIG Ninja Legacy banner (with market:// link ) in main menu, write nice, keyword oriented, description for this small game and release it. Don't spend more than 3-4 days on it. Let one app advertise other app.

  • In the past it was enough to make not-tragic-app and select at least 1 good keyword. Now you have 100+ competitors on any app. My friend said that he knows guy who buys Google Play accounts from China (for 100$ each) and on every account he release lots of crapware with good ranking, best names and so on.

anyway: that's life. You should try release your app on Amazon too. Since 2nd generation (so already old) Kindle has 1 GB RAM.

p.s. only CPI (cost per install) campaigns works

especially measuring force and making sounds dependable on it :)
