  • Sounds like a scam.

    It's not.

Maybe 10-100 participants submit finished games to you and you decide which one gets paid for their hard work?

Have you ever heard of a game jam?

At very least, a game needs a coder, sound artist and game artist. 3 jobs. Maybe someone can do all 3, but $1000 doesn't begin to cover the costs. You are basically asking everyone to spend their own time and money in hopes of recouping a fraction of the cost it takes to make a game. AND you want the project files.

    1. It sounds like you might be thinking of a AAA game. Which needs at least the crew you described and sometimes more. We are not talking about games that size. Here is an example of a game I made alone.

    2. We only want the source files of the winner who A) gets paid $1000 and B) will share in any ad revenue.

    Nope.

    Okay...

  • Hi everyone!

I have been a big fan of construct 3 for years. I have a gaming site that is currently looking for devs. We are starting out with a game jam with a $1000 dollar prize for the winning designer who will be paid and also rev share.

Here is the link to the jam.

Here is a link to the game site with my recent construct 3 creation, BREAK INVADERS

Hope to see some great games from you all!

  • Hi. This job has been covered, but thank you.

  • Hi there,

I am looking for a dev or dev team comfortable building a backend for a casual gaming site with a leaderboard. Think gamesnacks with a leaderboard or a very simplified Kongregate.

We want to focus on bespoke games made with Construct 3 so the architecture must interact with Construct so it helps if you know Construct intimately as well.

And just to be clear our starting budget for this is $15k.

Please reach out to me with information about yourself or your company and links to any related work.

    My email is

    info at supremerobot dot com

    Thank you,

    Victor Varnado

  • Hello,

I am working on a C2 based puzzle shooter. More shooter than puzzle actually. Kind of a spiritual successor to STERN Electronic's BERZERK. So mazes, robots, traps and lasers.

Looking for indie developers or company. I would be happy to talk about specifics and then hear your quotes.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads

  • This is a great game idea.

I think something that would be easy to do and a fun addition is to treat the world like an ecosystem.

Have percentage chances of things spawning and have related things affect the chance for others to spawn.

eat many chickens from a farm and increase the chance for farms to spawn trickier fences and gates.

collect a lot of nuts and squirrels may invade your den while you are away..etc...

it could perpetually create interesting gameplay as a sandbox piece like that.

  • I am going with A as well. And I would say that red isn't as important for the bowtie as just it being a color that pops and is unique to the pallete of the character.

  • Hey guys,

I am working on a game that uses procedural dungeons and I stumbled on to some enhancements that I haven't seen talked about here before, so I made a tutorial.

This actually only covers a bit of some of the stuff that has come up, but the tutorial was getting long so I stuck to the more fun aspects.

Here it is and the tut has a capx file as well.

    https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/1123/s ... ke-dungeon

    enjoy.

  • I will remove the capx, but if anyone wants it please let me know and I will send it to you.

  • UPDATE: Solved. See first post.

  • file did not attach so here is a link. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4SRJc ... sp=sharing

  • I am attaching the capx.

I have added the M key zoom in and out so you can see the map.

It is fine in c2 but on the web and in node it seems to happen every third time or so.

it must have something to do with how the map is generated, but it makes no sense that it only happens after export. Did not use third party plugins.

i made the randome dungeon based on this tutorial : http://bigbadwofl.me/random-dungeon-generator/

There are a list of global variables so you can change the room number. Map size is linked to layout size
