  • Thanks people for all your support with my pilgrimage in the animation...

    The fact is: I will do everything in construct, with a background music and sound effects... so, shooting every frame won't work,

    I know I can join all the frames with some programs and them insert the audio with other, but I know that there is no need to do that, because construct can do a better job.

    I will go with Ashley's advice.

    BTW: The construct community grew a lot! No surprise, but it's very cool!

  • Well, I'm too used to construct and mmf style that I can do pretty much anything I want with it... Well, now I'm in college and I need to do some little animations(less than a minute)... the big problem is that the prograns that I found are all proprietary(flash) and more: a complete new studing cicle to learn.

    So, I started to search and found a way with some programs that do videos from a selected window... this worked, but, then the idea of it in construct came in my mind...

    Is it possible? To you guys to do an "export as video" feature to construct?

    Well, keep up the good work! construct is awesome.

  • Well, having an field of view for it... so, if an actor is, for example, 300 pixels from the object with the behavior, it can't see the actor, even if he's not behind an obstacle,,,

    Well, I can make something like this, using a mask, but well, it's better having it on the behavior don't you think?

  • well... this simple... a action to flip the sprite without entering on everyone and doing the flip...

    for an example, i have to reflip 25 sprites of a animation... whitout a key shortcut....

  • Just for a edit, but also to up the topic to help someone with the same problem... I actually managed it...

    For an example, if i need to repeat from the 6th frame, i put in the repeat to (7)6+1

    Well, you understand right?

    till the version without those bugs, i have to use this...

    I too, at the start was the same...

    but, well, there's no need for it, if you can make how many vars you whant...

    this is far away from making me to care about... but the worst for me without a doubt are those events to change anims... cus thei're not working too well... XD

    I'm not gonna change the subject of the topic, so, i created another one on the upload section... I will also report it on the tracker...

  • oh tanks, now i found it,

    not a bug at all... sorry...

    But, well... saves everything? the positivon of objects in other layouts, theyrs values...?

    No need to answer at all, it's just that i became a little impressed

    Man... if it's like this, then, construct have all to be the biggest on those makers... and with python... man... you're awesome doing this program!

    Oh... and one more thing(again XD) well, just to say, that construct was crashing and a bugging with objects simple disappearing, on the layout editor when we put them in, but they still appears in the event sheet...

    Well, I solved this disabling the skin, and working with just the XP theme...crash nor bugs since it.

    I have one more question...

    What exactly is saved when we use the save file on the system object?

    this is, well, i actually saved it... and it doesn't save the variables of the objects... looks like it saves only the global variables... and things rellated to the system right?

    well better this way... I prefer using a array...

  • Sorry, but here I go again...

    I was starting some tests doing some animations, when I tried to do something...

    well...

    When I edit the value of the repeat to on the animation prop., when I go out of it, it always return to 1... no matter what...

    Well, I tested on my pc, after and before a complete reinstalation of my windows... and still the same problem...

    Some of you could confirm it for me? if it is a bug or something that I am doing wrong?

    that damn tutorial it's jus what I need... for now, at least... that I first whant to work with animations...

    Then, i will start to make my own engine of movement...

    oh, btw, i'm translating construct to my home-country language... maybe tomorrow i finish it...
