I am normally online (its on in the background) and it is currently the best way to communicate with me.

Due to technology being a specific topic I can only communicate in English.

  • Discmach replied through PM really sorry for that delay. I'd suggest using that email to contact me here on out, as I check that more frequently (out of habit.)

  • I'm willing to do this, but the question is: am I any more skilled than yourself?

Probably not, we're probably the same, but if you'd still like to pay me ?30 then sure <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • hmm.. happy-har-dik...... hmmm...

  • Thank you everybody.

This has all helped me get back on track; I also must agree that I work best late in the evening, and now I actually have some kind of scientific reasoning!

    Thank you all, again. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

Bit old, but I love the film and its music <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • Thank you Aphrodite

    Some really good points there.

I currently have a whole event list for just personal notes and another for what I've fixed etc with comments and all that!

  • Thanks a lot Tokinsom <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I just find myself procrastinating rather than starting a new project.. it's dreadful.

I really like points: 2,3 and 5. They are things I do/need to do more/am proud of when I do them (mainly #4 as it shows myself that I can really focus on quality rather than quantity.

Thank you :) The reason I didn't reply sooner was because I was actually in construct! Yay!

All other opinions/ideas/etc are welcome :)

  • Hi guys,

I believe I have a good product at the moment... but as a teenager with impulses to always try something different I have found that I've, not lost interest, but rather focus on my project.

Perhaps it is motivation; perhaps it is an in-ability to focus; perhaps I need a little boost.

So I what I was really wondering was:

When you WANT to finish something you are passionate about but somehow hit a wall of lack of motivation... what brings you back up?

    Thanks, this is a serious thread and I would genuinely appreciate someone's thoughts/ideas/stratagems <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I personally wouldn't buy Construct through Steam (whole bunch of threads about Steam vs Non-steam on here so don't start that here!)

But I love steam; I also don't know any other distribution services so you're kinda screwed... it's a love-hate thing.

  • sqiddster ... that's a pretty good question..

  • Be sure to pick up a copy through steam everybody!

50% off! Can't go wrong on this purchase!

  • When I previewed over LAN on:

    2x Iphone 4S'

    1x Ipad 3rd gen

    1x Samsung Galaxy S2

    1x Dell Laptop

I got smooth on laptop, Ipad but naff FPS on Galaxy and both Iphones. These were previewing through 'Chrome' on all devices.

After compiling with CocoonJS it was SUCH an improvement. Couldn't be happier (I think ;])

  • Wow guys that's really inspiring! Thanks all for your other comments also thanks for the link.

  • Dave Hailwood ; Dave has anyone achieved a notorious amount of money from development or have these all been released as free?

Also, do you reckon anyone is living off Construct 2 games? (eg that is their income.)

  • No worries, using dropbox is really key too though! Without it I wouldn't be able to store progress backups... eg. if I go 'oh crap' and I realise I've messed something up big time then I can just recover from say 3 hours ago or on a save before a big change.
