  • I was thinking about something with cogwheels two days ago, yours are a nice simple example.

  • It looks really promising.

  • this is my first platformer creation to get familiar with construct 2. It took me just a few hours to figure it all out.

I like that I can destroy objects at the end of an animation.

    Movement: WASD

    Equip / switch weapon: 1 or 2

    Enemies have health (not displayed)

Bullets do a specific numerical damage

Enemies with a hazard suit can't be damaged by the acid gun.

Due to my low rep I can't provide you with a clickable link yet.

  • I do like it. :P

Plays like it has a lot of potential. Shooting while steering / strafing was a bit complicated for me. For the non-QWERTY users Z might be a bit too far to reach while not letting go of the WASD hand position.

On my natural keyboard I have to make weird finger breakdance moves to reach Z.

My suggestion would be to assign the fire buttons to shift+space or ctrl+space, this also makes the player able to utilize his thumb and the little finger.

  • That's a nice game. I made it through, lost a gazillion lifes though.

    Difficulty feels about just right.

I discovered a little flaw in the last level.

I got stuck in the checkpoint sprite when jumping below it to collect some coins. Also at the same position, once the checkpoint is activated and I am not stuck I can't get the red blob to collect the upper row of coins below the checkpoint, it doesn't want to jump in that narrow part.

  • That looks just great, cute and ghastly at the same time. Well done.

  • This seems like appropriate place for my first post on this forums.

Thanks for making construct 2, within a few hours I came up with a tech demo for my 2d shooter and thanks for the twitter competition, I'm quite interested in that business license. :D
