• Awesome! Will you be able to duck or avoid anything? I more than once got hit while waiting for the hammer to hit the target because it ran out of power. Then again, it may be just my skills..

  • cryoburn Thank you very much! The gradients are indeed to create subtle depth.

The jump is something I haven't quite worked on, I used some frames from the run cycle as placeholders.

  • unclejunkie Yeah I think it will be alright, the story, sounds and setting are far from childish. Not that cartoon are childish, but you catch my drift. And I think any graphics will work as long as the atmosphere is grim.

  • Update: I've added some lighting, dust particles while walking and finished the running animation. It's starting to look good! What do you think?

  • mineet Thank you :) Yeah hopefully the slighty cartoony look will work out for this horror game.

  • pixel perfick Thanks! The atmoshpere here is nothing compared to what I've been planning :D

I think the running could use a little less armflapping and a bit more headbobbing, it's all finetuning ;)

  • Random testing..

Most of the art will be replaced and the animations still need a lot of work, but I'm happy how the camera works.

Thank you so much :) I'm also working on the music and sounds. Doing this at the same time helps me to get inspiration and get more into the world I'm making.

  • Now that I've found Construct 2 I'm working on my survival horror game again. It started as a Flash game so I have to start over in a way, but I'm motivated again!

    Here's an environment.

  • Hi everyone,

I'm Robin, have been making games and animations for some years now. Mainly used Flash for everything but I've also tried out MMF and a bit of Game Maker. Now I've just started a couple of days with Contruct 2 and I'm loving it!

I've never really finished a game, my projects are way too ambitious most of the time. But, I'm currently working on a horror survival game, the game I've always wanted to make. I work on it when I'm inspired and try not to force it too much and this method seems to work. It has been in development for almost three years now, and it's not nearly finished, but I'm still really enthousiastic about it!

I'm more of a graphics and animations guy, not really a programmer although I really like to code and I'm always willing to learn new stuff.

Oh my favorite game is The Legend Of Zelda.
