So the new C3 logo has a triangle to represent the 3 huh ?

... is that a hint at polygons ?

...does that mean C3 will be 3D ?

Sadly, I think the triangle is an arrow pointing to the hole in center and represents the emptiness you are going feel when you find out that C3 isn't 3D.

Or it could mean that C3 comes with a free Dorito chip! Yum.

  • Thanks for all the responses. And thank you for the work around tip, Ben. I set the angle from the first sprite to the second and it works fine for what I need.

  • Try Construct 3

Just posting to say that I really like the new logo for Construct 3! And I can't wait for Wednesday's news.

  • Is it possible to set the origin point of one sprite to the position of a second sprite through events?

  • Wishful thinking I guess. I thought since both Youtube and Vimeo use oEmbed, I could simply redirect a few links and change a few things around and it'll work, but it didn't. It's well beyond my skill set.

Great Youtube plugin, btw, It works really well. Thanks for sharing it!

I could not implement it soon. Add it into TODO, I might free after 6 months later.

Thank you for your reply. I understand if you are too busy.

Do you think it would be difficult for me to adapt this plugin for Vimeo? Maybe go through the code and change everything related to Youtube over to Vimeo? Or do you think it's a little more complicated than that?

  • Anyway we can get a vimeo player version of this?

  • You could try to use 2 separate sprites, one with the rotate behavior and the other with the bullet behavior. Pin the rotating sprite to the bullet sprite and make the the bullet sprite invisible.

Hi there! Sorry for the late reply. I use Adobe Audition CS6 to edit and convert audio files. Unless you have a Mac, I can't really think of a cheaper option. I know there has to be something out there though. Maybe try http://sourceforge.net?

    Wish I could be of more help. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad">

Thanks so much for your answer! It was an audio issue.

    Ashley

Thanks, but grigrizljac pointed me in the right direction. It was an corrupt audio file, sometimes created by importing and converting audio formats within C2. I converted the audio files in a different program, replaced the audio files in my C2 project, and it loads perfectly in Safari now.

  • Thanks for the link! The plugin doesn't seem to work anymore though. I tested out the demo and all it seems to create is a blank PDF.

That's not really what I'm concerned about. Safari crashing is symptom. The problem is that a webpage built in Construct 2 doesn't load in Safari. I don't think it's wrong for me to want a website I built in C2 to be viewable on iOS devices, as advertised.

You haven't made a reference to the two examples I posted, so I feel like you are dismissing this issue, because you misunderstood the problem. Why would one example consistently load in Safari and the other won't load, when they both have the same assets and events? Something in the first example is preventing it from loading in Safari.

  • I found out that you can. I just played with Inkscape on their cloud server. It's little slow though, at least on my computer and internet speed. Nice idea.

If I upload a Windows application to Cameyo's cloud server, can I use that application through a browser on my Mac?

  • Probably. I searched before posting, but I wasn't able to find a plugin for it. I'm hoping someone here can help me.
