A real sinewave is what im after.

This was just to give a visual understanding.

But it is important that the sine's go from sprite to sprite.

  • Hi.

This one is for the "math" magicians.

    <img src="http://www.conceptsarea.com/Construct2/Sinewave.jpg" border="0" />

As shown above, i need to "automaticly" have a sinewave drawn, using the sprites as distance points.

I dont have any clue on how to go about this.

    If i would, then i had implemented a capx <img src="smileys/smiley12.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    I welcome any tips!

    Kind Regards

  • Hi all! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle">

In this Post the question is raised if there will ever be a 3D alternative to scirra Construct2.

I have chosen for a simple solution for this mather, because the conversation in that post evolves in "will never work/will work" and so on.

It really comes down to the simple question.

Who of us would buy a simplified 3d game building environment if it "where possible" & made by scirra.

The least we can do is inform scirra with the numbers.

Numbers that say "yes" i would invest money into that!

So please understand that explaining why it "is not possible" in a ever growing software evolution is rather unnecessary to reply.

    If your answer is "yes".

    Then reply saying.

(I Do) & (I would pay "x amount" for it)

    If your answer is "no"

Then be so kind and dont reply <img src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" align="middle">.

    So i say.

    (I Do) & (I would pay at least 200 euro's)

Thats 200 euro's in the pocket for shure!

    So who's next.

For the users of the forum, this would give the abillity to get a list of plugins specific from their chosen 3rd party developer.

To explain why that would be awesome, is the same as understanding why google just works!

In better words: it gives u rapid search: more specific than it is at this point.

If (as an example) i want to see "only" the plugins made by Yann, then i would have to "dig them out" in the big pile of forum posts in the plugin section, or the plugin & behavior list by Kyatric.

So a specific build in "filtered search" that has the option (3rd party developers) benifits everyone who wants to be fast and to the point.

And on the other side there is the benifit for the 3rd party developer.

Which means that they are even more implemented as a fundament of construct 2 onto the forum.

They are working around the clock to build those very needed plugins we all use.

Presenting them a tool that enables "their plugin" user to find/discus the newest of their work in a simplified way, is better than just piling up the forum pages, and keeping the fingers crossed that everyone finds what he/she is looking for.

The way it is now is like giving someone the whole forrest, even if he/she only asked for 1 tree, or a specific branded tree family.

Hope it is clear for u now, and that my explanation clearified the issue.

    Kind Regards.

  • Hi Team Scirra!

As i was doing my daily surfing through the plugin section on the forum, i was looking for specific plugins only made by a specific 3rd party builder.

That made me realise that for me "to retrieve a list of only a chosen 3rd party developer" would be awesome!

So the idea is simple enough.

    Choose forum/plugin section.

Then search on developer (as in rexrainbow,Pode, septeven, etc)

The forum then shows only the plugin pages by that user.

    (Not the comment pages.)

That enables your site users "such as me" to instantly keep track of all plugins made by specific 3rd party developers, without having to scroll through large lists.

Now i know that Kyatric already has the plugin and behaviour list.

However, it is a search option "this specific" that seems logical to implement in well, a place in which u search for 3rd party plugins.

Thus as a result, making the site even stronger for the scirra audience.

    Kind Regards.

I have made a simple test Capx for u.

I found that when the project is not set to fullscreen "Scale", the shaking stops.

However, with fullscreen "Scale" enabled the 2 plugins start shaking.

    Only in Chrome.

My chrome version is 24.0.1312.52 m

    Hope this helps <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

On both Google Chrome PC & android the ComboBoxListBox and TextBox-Addon are shaking.

Because i also use the normal textbox i have checked that one as well.

The normal textbox however is not shaking.

I have noticed that for the ComboBoxListBox "when i select the box" the shaking stops.

Until i select something else, because then it starts shaking again.

The textbox-addon keeps shaking, even if i select it.

All 3 of them use the anchor behaviour.

The strange thing is, this has started last week, after a chrome update.

But as the "normal" scirra textbox does not shake at all, i think it is worth looking into, because the normal textbox is separate from your plugin line.

So maybe the answer lies in that plugin.

Hope it can be fixed because its making me and my app users dizzy <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Could u look into this?

Ps: if u want me to upload a short video of the shaking then i would kindly apply.

    Kind Regards.

  • I am also interested in this functionality.

Maybe u could post a "suggestion" in the plugins section?

    Kind Regards.

  • The Dropbox Plugin by Septeven gives u exactly the permanent saving u seek.

Only downside is the player needs to be "online".

But even when going ofline for a day would mean the player could save his/her progress as local webstorage.

Then when internet pops up again, upload the complete webstorage "as json" to a dropbox .txt file.

Then when the cookies are erased: have the player download his savegame from dropbox.

    Bam!

In my "Universe App" i have a login & upload/download via webstorage combined with dropbox.

    Its awesome, realy easy!

And now my app users can erase all the cookies they want, and never really loose the data.

Unless ofcourse i erase the dropbox entirely.

But also that is to be backupped.

    Kind regards.

  • Paradox

Im running on nexus 7 and the textboxes are shaking in my app.

However i am also running it on WebGL with the new Google Beta.

If i run it in the non beta version of Google the textboxes wont shake.

  • Update.

    When Focussed they stop shaking.

When unfocussed they start shaking again.

  • Hi!

Dont know if its a Bug, but i thought i'd let u know.

On my Android Tablet the Textboxes are shaking at a constant rate.

Looks like they have trouble with the anchor behaviour.

    Kind Regards.
