  • Hopefully this hasn't already been posted to the forums already but I found a podcast by Game Over Yeah where Ashley is a guest and talks Construct 2. I'm listening to it right now, some interesting things he talks about (including some info about Wii U support).

  • Any idea on what kind of multiplayer support this is going to be? I'm wondering if this will be mobile compatible and if it's LAN or cloud based (or both)?

  • IJCT have you tried using Construct 2's "debug layout" feature to see what in your game uses the most CPU (look under the "profile" tab in the debugger)?

  • I really like the idea of the game. I lost pretty quickly on easy though. With some polish i think you could have something really addicting

  • I'm surprised at how well performance is on mobile with Spriter! I went ahead and bought spriter pro just because I am in love with it and 25$ is worth it for getting in on the good pricing before it goes up. Hopefully more and more Pro features will eventually become available in Construct 2 (i like the mesh bending feature with control points, not sure what it's called)

  • i hope scirra doesn't give up on CocoonJS yet, it's still the best option if you want things like ads in your app (hopefully crossroads will get more features soon)

  • I know that Crossroads is the fun new thing to talk about but I'd like to discuss some of the new CocoonJS updates.

    So a few things that stand out to me is the new Brightroll ad network support. Anyone know how this works with MoPub and if we can just use the existing CocoonJS plugin to call these ads?

    Also it mentions "Handle back button in the Webview", but I'm not sure if they'll be adding back button functionality for canvas/webgl mode?

    There's a few other things in the update but you can read it for yourself.

    Any thoughts on how this update could effect Construct 2 developers or possibly things that could be added to the CocoonJS plugin?

  • daristan yeah I am also wondering what pro features would be beneficial to Construct 2 users (I'm not sure what pro features are or are not compatible with Construct 2). So far the free version has had everything I need but I haven't been using it for long

  • so for those of us who already have a license, it is ok to record and make money from tutorials right? Is this written somewhere on the scirra website (sometimes YouTube requires you to submit proof that you have permission to use what you're using and a link on the website would work best)

  • I'm getting the same thing as well, not sure why. Every once in a while the full screen ad does show up for me, but not most of the time (even when it does say "interstial loaded" in logcat)
