    Long story short, i am using this addon in construct.

    construct.net/en/make-games/addons/89/bitwise-auto-tiling-c3

    Works as how i want it to work when testing in construct.

    However, when i export to android and test the apk, it does nothing.

    Am i missing something or is this a bug in this addon?

  • Why not use an array instead of function parameters?

    I am using aan array for the inventory but i don't have much experience with functions yet. I am following the tutorial in the link above but i cant seem to figure out what i need to change to make it work with the new functions system.

    This is a part of the functions where they use function.paramcount and function.parm. I cant find a solution for this in C3.

    In the modern version of the function system i can't use things like Function.paramcount. But i am trying to get a tutorial to work for an inventory system based on an array. Someone any idea how to fix this?

    I have an website system where a user can create an account and login.

    On this website i show some basic details about an user, like their user id and coins.

    This information is taken from an mysql database, wich all works fine.

    Now i want the users to be able to play the game while they are logged in on my website and i want to check in the game project wich user id is logged in so i can use that id to fetch user info inside the game about the user.

    Is there an easy way to do this?

    Because on the website, when an user is logged in, i can fetch some information like their userid through a query and show it on the page with $_SESSION['id'].

    But i cant seem to get this userid from my website in construct.

    Anybody who can help?

    i only need to know wich id the user is logged in with on this website, so i can get the rest from the database.

    I am looking for a way to let my android game send a notification.

    The thing is, i want someone to let the game do a thing.

    Then it will say the game is busy, and when the game is finished, it must send the player a push notification.

    For example in my text based game: Push the button to let the player explore.

    Button is pushed and the game will say: the player is busy exploring.

    The player closes the game and gems a push notification on his android phone 2 hours later.

    Is this posibble?

    I want to know how to make a server, wich i can run on a VPS server. I want this server to be the "host" of a game i want to make where players can see each other in real time without a player being the host.

    Can someone help me with this or give me a good tutorial?

  • It depends on the game.

    If, for example you want players to drag&drop tiles, then use a sprite at first.

    When the player drops the sprite to its location, you can destroy the sprite and modify the appearance of the tile at the TileMap.
