If it's not too big, submit it to the tracker - you can tick 'private' if you want so noone else sees the .cap - and we can take a look.
It all looks OK to me, I think you should format your PC and see if it fixes it to be honest.

I'd have to say line of sight was the best way to go; we don't really want to have feature overlap, but maybe the two could work together a little better if it can't do what you want.

Could you upload your construct.ini, in application data\scirra? Then as a workaround once you've done that you can delete it, and the picture editor should return to normal.
