  • Yes. Start by adding all the effects you are going to use to the object. Then, in the event sheet, click the object that has the effects. Then click Compare Frame. Set it to equal to. Then type in the frame number. Then click ok. Now add an action to that event, click the object, and scroll down until you see the effect setting to set an effect enabled. Then set the effects that you want on on that frame enabled, and set the effects you want off disabled. This works similarly with the effect parameters.

  • I would reccomend checking out the REX Mode 7 Effects and Plugins. Install those and then apply them to your project. If you want me to, I can post and send a google drive link straight to the effects and plugins.

  • You are not doing anything wrong, its just that the resolution of the images themselves is getting fuzzy. Its like if you took a photo on your computer, if you make it smaller by scaling it down, it will make the image blurry looking close up, but will still look fine if you look at it further away.

    Construct 2 is able to take high resolution images and when they scale down, they will still look fine even though they are technically smaller than the original resolution.
