  • hey guys , i started working on this plugin , keep you updated here

This is going to be great if you can pull it off.

  • After receiving the JSON response from the AJAX plugin, the JSON response is going to have to be put into an array. There is the Array, Hash, Dictionary, Table, and even a JSON plugin which should accomplish this. Once you load the JSON data into the array of your choice, you can use that plugin's functions to access the data position.

  • Review the attached .capx at this thread...

  • The tag in the on ajax completed is wrong..

It should be "Current" and all works

Thanks for that, you're right about the tag.

  • I completed the AJAX tutorial and read through the JSON api forum threads, yet within all of that info there isn't a clear documented step that shows how to get JSON data from a REST call and display it to the screen.

The attached .capx is using the AJAX plugin and I can successfully retrieve a json object from the URL. I can verify this by opening the browser console and see the json object. But I can't display it onscreen. Is there a conversion step which I am missing?

For some reason the file uploader is broken so here's another url...

  • Great job. I bought mine the other day and can't wait to explore the event sheets. I already have a concept to use with this template and you just saved me a lot of research time.

  • I just came across this project. Goddamn it's addicting. I just blew a half hour throwing hooks and flying sidekicks. Right on!

Also, I viewed the videos and Shinkan is right. A step-by-step tutorial is needed because of the somewhat complexity of the process.

danuyos...you've got my respect buddy. What a great demo.
