    My site visit count just went from 30-something down to 1, even though if you look at my forum posts, you can see I posted yesterday. Could one of you please fix my streak?

    I checked out your site and Google says it's partially blocked because some content is from obmfuneral.com, "a known malware distributor."

    Specifically, I saw the message when I clicked on the "Graphic Development" link.

  • Yeah, if you look at the people on the front page, 10 out of 25 are bogus, and 3 of the top 5. I didn't even bother to check page 2 (nope, I took a quick peek, and number 26 is bogus, too). Poor Rory, SoldjahBoy, Yann, etc.!

    We've actually talked about it before on the forums, and there was at least one major site glitch that gave people a badge every time they refreshed a page, and there are clearly a few other instances of the bizarre at work. I imagine cleaning this up is one of those things the dev team has on their well-padded to-do list. =P

  • That's not a very friendly or helpful way to boost your rep. Why don't you head over to the Your Creations forum and give people some helpful comments on their screenshots, videos, test pieces, and games?

  • =P California and I weren't providing genuine "solutions," since we have no control over the website, but we've given a couple decent workarounds which are going to be as good as it gets until Ashley/Tom's implementation works its way up the to-do list.

    I'd argue it's the best solution right now, although maybe someone else has superior forum-fu.

  • I don't think saving the results page is going to work, but you can do the search for your forum posts any time. If you want results which *don't* expire, although you'll get a list of each individual mention rather being broken down by thread, you can use google, and conduct the following search:

    site:http://www.scirra.com/forum randomexile

    If you bookmark the results page, google will just display the updated results every time you visit it.

  • LindsayInPhilly, unless there's a specific badge or achievement you're missing, there's nothing that can be done right now. The best thing for the time being is to leave the recalculate button alone, and maybe Tom or Ashley will disable it like VonBednar suggested, since you guys are far from the first to run into this.

    It would increase the likelihood that someone who felt more "on duty" than off might wander through and square away a thing or two. ;)
