  Setting a value between 0 and 255 definitely makes more sense than setting it as a percentage. Converting the value to % is easy in code like in my capx but when you're setting a value in the editor eg.

  The parameters for SetColor should be between 0 and 100, not 255. setColor.capx (r111)

  Seems to be a problem with using bound to layout and physics. I'd say get rid of the bound to layout behavior on the sub and put immovable physics sprites around the edge of the layout.

  You have to set the parallax of the HUD layer to 0,0. See the second and third paragraphs on page 7.

  When up, right and A are pressed then event 40 will run and set the animation to "Left", event 41 will run and set the animation to "Up" and event 43 will set it to "FastUpRight". So every tick the animation is being changed 3 times and every time it changes it plays from the beginning. So it never gets past the first frame. Basically you need an 'A is not down' condition on events 40 and 41.

  Check the collision polygons for your platforms. Open the sprite in the image editor and click the collision polygon button (bottom icon on the left). You'll see they need to be fixed; the collision poly for Sprite2 especially is all over the place.

  Select the layer, look at the layer properties on the left and you'll see the parallax settings.

  Event 7 that's disabled is a different solution that doesn't use families. Just disable event 4 and enable 7. Don't worry about credits.
