Text object not displaying in HUD Layer

Hi there,

On HUD layer we tried to add Text object from the instructions for the beginner page 7 and we cannot see the Score.. We are evaluating Construct 2 to decide if it can build an iphone game...

We are using Construct 2 Release 108.2 (64-bit)

Free edition

Chrome Version 23.0.1271.95 m

You have to set the parallax of the HUD layer to 0,0. See the second and third paragraphs on page 7.

Still does not work. I had toggled it off to see if that was the issue.

Do you mean the text doesn't show up or it doesn't show the score?

Does not show up at all... yours worked? What was wrong with ours?

I just set the parallax of the HUD layer to 0,0.

Interesting.. Ours still does not work...

Hi there. Parallax in editor was set to yes, I changed it to no.. It is fixed now..... What does that setting do?
