  If your doing a space game,and all you want is a random star backdrop,you could create them offscreen,above,below,left or right of the screen and they would come into view,dependant on the direction your setting off at...this could also be done with tiled backgrounds,but would require more system resorces...

  Just had a quick look at your cap...not much time at the moment,but have you tried setting the Z order of your body segments upon creation?...that may sort out the overlapping problems..if not maybe split the parts into 3 families..behind torso,torso and front limbs?...the animation problems would need more time for me to look at...

  Was Fine here too,I even changed them both to tiled backgrounds and everything was,as should be...looks like graphics card drivers as thehen says...

  Looking at your screenshot,I'm thinking it's too large to display in the editor,maybe textures above a certain size are transparent to save video ram...anyone confirm?

  Just a thought,but is your tiled background "inside out"?,as in been mistakingly flipped on itself?....as that makes it invisable,I think,other than that....Dunno...

  Thanks shadowlord,that seems to work perfectly,I changed to using delta time rather than milliseconds,but it works with either,again,many thanks.
