i almost got it to work, but i need afxres.h and afxres.rc
ATL isn't included in the express editions, so i switched everything out with the string library and got all that to work, but I'm stuck... please help!!!
is it possible to make an SDK for the express edition of Visual C++???
if there was i could make a joystick plug-in and probably a lot of other stuff... from what I know, its probably not possible, but I guess theres no hurt in asking...
kk... ill check back tomorrow and get started!!! but right now, im goin to bed (in case all you pplz are from somewhere else, its like 9:30 here and i got a long day tomorrow, and then i have a long night of wiki editing!! )

figured it out... the osdn mirror is just really slow

I posted my name in the thread to give edit writes to me in the wiki... but I don't have them... i contributed to some of the articles back before it was restricted... If you don't want me to help, just tell me
the only suggestion i have is making the enemy thingys not rotate
it looks better if you add:
start of layout: set sprite5.angle towards (sprite.x, sprite.y)
set display angle to sprite5.angle
that way it doesn't rotate really fast at the beginning
