  I thought the latest versions of Construct2 were defaulting to closing on "back," if you don't have anything assigned to it. Was yours the latest?

  In mine "Back" takes you progressively back to the title screen, but then I thought the default would close it. I may have a problem too.

  Still waiting on word of my game, I've about given up on it being in on time. An extension could save me.

  Mine is a cannon game, but I didn't use physics, so hopefully it won't burn the player.

  Hmm, if it is extended, I could put it in the arcade and get some opinions.

  The tool "Give Your Fonts Mono" also makes monotone fonts, but it is designed for Construct's Sprite Fonts, and can allow you to add extra space for adding colors and outlines all at once in an editor. (Makes PNG files)

  Just a tip on getting Chrome to load new versions, I add "?b=2345" to the end of the url, and chrome assumes it's a new address.

  just make a different number each time. (or you could add it to your links, stick the version number in it.)

  i.e.

  mwmdragon.comxa.com/battlemat

  I've noticed quirks in Chrome before, and wanted to blame Chrome immediately, but was left wondering how it could be in some cases.

  Then there are cases where I blamed Chrome, and it was actually something else, one was what happens when my web save didn't load and the nulls read as not equal 0. Parts of my unexplored map were unexplainably inconsistently visible.

  I usually set a global variable so that when they return to the page, it remember's that they turned off the music.

  I make a sprite button with two frames, 0=on & 1=off

  the global variable hold the same values so the frame can be set with it when returning to the page.

  I check the sprite for a touch and if the sprite is on frame 0 switch it to 1 and if it's a 1 switch it to 0. and set the global.

  The common problem with buttons:

  since the second event also sees the click, and the frame switched in the first event to 1, it will fire switching it right back to 0.

  So, when the first event fires, wait 0 or .1 before setting the value, so that it will wait a tick before setting the value. The second event saw the value was still 0 and didn't fire. Then the value changes next tick.

  (wait 0 waits until the next tick.)
