  • Hi Everyone!

I'm working on a new game called: Mr Poo McFarts Poo And Fart Adventures! The goal was to create a fun game for kids and I'am also aiming to create the Ultimate Toilet Game (game which your can quickly play during a toilet break).

The game is due for release to iOS and Android in October, so I'm in the test and tweak phase right now.

If you are intrested in more updates please like the facebook page:

  • Hi austin

    Clay.io plugin: 0.4.12

    Construct 2: 143

    Cocoonjs launcher 1.4

    Test device: Iphone 4gs

    I'm having two issues:

    • When I have logged in and have Clearence == 'clay', the Clayio.PlayerUsername is always 'Anonymous'.
    • When I prompt the logout dialog the dialog shows, BUT the 'Log me out' button never shows.

As a result all users that posts a highscore are called Anonymous in the highscore list. But the list still shows the write picture and if I click a highscore I come to that user in clay.

There are no error in the cocoonjs log.

When testing this in a browser everything looks good.

    Screen shots from cocoonjs launcher:

  • I was also interested in any previous art you had done arvin00. I googled your name and found a couple of hits, it would of course be better if you linked to your own work :) but in lack of that this is what I found:

    arvin00.cghub.com/images

    Have you done this arvin00?

  • Also I just read the Ludei change log for their new launcher version 1.4.1 http://wiki.ludei.com/cocoonjs:releases#v_141, and it said that:

    • Fixed problem with width and height css attributes

I wild guess would be that maybe those css problems lead to the scaling issues that Mayfly described?

  • I've been testing with the new 1.4 cocoonjs launcher for android and ios and I have:

    • Clayio.LoggedIn == 1

    but

    • Clayio.PlayerUsername == Anonymous

I have it setup in my game so that if Clayio.LoggedIn == 1 then it should show a logout button (that prompts the logout screen) and since LoggedIn == 1 all the time it only shows the logout button but when I click it the logout dialog is an empty dialog (normally it would have a logout button).

Could you have a look at the LoggedIn expression austin?

  • Hi!

Thanks for testing and for the reply, I appreciate it a lot! I'm trying to get an updated version of the game out but there are currently problem with the latest version of the Clay.io plugin. I will notify Austin about the problems that you reported and I'll also take a look at it myself to see if I could tweek the css to make it more responsive.

It would be great if you could take a screenshot and email it to me at onemuppet.david@gmail.com, so that I have a clear understanding of the problem.

    Big thanks tumira

  • Wigriff I'm really glad to hear you like it and that the controls grew on you. It's a long journey a head before the game is completly playable. but I will try to make it in steps so that you will be able to play the game while I continue to evolve it and the updates will just seamlessly extend the gameplay, without removing any items or gold that you have collected.

Tanks again for playing it mineet and Wigriff@Wigriff Thank you! :)

  • Wigriff Thank you! :)

The controls are a bit limited I admit but they are (hopefully) more intuitive at a mobile/pad and my main focus when building games is the mobile market, using the cocoonjs plugin to speed things up.

  • mineet Thank you so much!

I was pretty sure I was the only one surfing the forums at this hour (it's 02:00 in the morning here) but you proved me wrong, fast! ;) I got an early train to catch tomorrow so I'd best be getting to bed, thanks again mineet!

  • The Hunt For A New Past

It's been 10 years since this insanity started, 10 years since I thought about anything else, 10 years since I cared about anything or anyone else, 10 years since I met Drion...

I still remember every detail of our brief meeting. The lonely chair in an otherwise crowed bar, the old man cloaked and hooded, the smell, the bartender looking nervously at me sitting down, the sound of his voice as his started to speak... At first I just waved it off as an old man rambling, but when I finally got to my room later that night I realized that what he had told me stuck. I lay awake, with his words ringing in my ears, his voice echoing in my brain. I asked around the next morning wanting to know more about the old man. Suddenly I found myself outside of the bar from last night, I hesitated for a moment, opened the door. The bartender was still there cleaning up.

    • He left a note for you, he said. There was no need to explain who left it. As I grab the note the bartender looked me in the eyes and said, with a low, almost sad voice:
    • You still have a choice... a million thoughts went through my head, a part of me understood what he meant, but greed, the will to explore or the feeling that this is what I was meant to do quickly erased that part from me. I had made my choice the bartender let go of the note, the doors shut behind me and I walked away....

That was 10 years ago. Today I'm at the end of that 10 year journey, today I reap the rewards... or so I thought...

    -----------------

I'm not sure I much of a writer and it's hard to write in a language that's not your native but that is my background story leading up to my latest game which is only starting to take shape... It started out as a mobile/touch movement experiment, and things kind of took of from there. The graphics are still very, very raw.

There are three "moves" you can make:

    1. Draw a Path: Hold down you mouse button and move it to draw a path, the player will follow that path.

    2. Shot: (after collecting your first wepon (it's to the left at the start) you can do a quick mouse press anywhere at the screen and the shot will go in that direction.

    3. Stop: Hold down the mouse button with out moving it for a short while and the player will stop.

If anyone want to give it ago please go right ahead! As always any feedback positive or negative is welcome!
