  • Yes. I know about Rexrainbow's Timeline. I've even replied to his thread when he released it. Though, I was refering to another kind of timeline. The visual one with keys etc. like Flash, After Effects, Sencha, Expression Blend and whatnot.

  • Expected and about time. I just feel relief considering that I was hating Flash from back to it's "hit" days where I was kinda forced to learn it for a job that thinking of it now, I happily declined.

  • So here I am requesting a feature. I very rarely do request features in software as I feel "attacking" a company's/team's roadplan, but nevertheless here it is....a Timeline editor.

    And that is nothing more fancy that you would expect.

    Keyframing transforms of object, or their properties.

    Initiate a timeline throught Event Editor.

    Call other actions through the timeline.

    I believe this is something that will have A LOT of uses and help achieve some things much faster than currently.

  • There are allways the Artists and the Coders more or less categorized. What I mean is that Artists totally noob to ""programming" would probably like to buy/get some blocks that do something and Coders totally noob to art-ing would probably like to buy/get some graphics.

    At the end I support such an idea for both cases hold true at some point.

    Moreover I would like the idea of a "PLAY" link so games are hosted by Scirra and summed alltogether in this domain (ratings,comments etc). Look Stencyl, GameMaker, GameSalad. I have the conception that this is in a to do list but it's not yet..hm..healthy to do due to few games? Maybe I am wrong. Anyhow

  • Can't exactly tell what you mean without knowing how you've "programmed" it, but in any case, have you tried using the "run this once" condition? By the way it should be placed last in a condition...."box" or however this is called :-P

    Actually the reason I want this is so that I can connect from my iPad to my localhost and playtest from within the device. Is that even possible? Sounds reasonable.

  • So this is the game I was working on for the competition (easy to tell from it's space theme), but didn't make it there due to some prety bad crashes that hopefully [EDIT--ment thankfully] Ashley fixed. Nothing of a polished work.

    Play Planet Omega

    INFO / CONTROLS

    ---------------

    Goal of the game is to evacuate as many "Omegans" as possible before planet Omega is destroyed (and it will). To do this you must collect resources from broken commets, build defences, auto-collector and ultimately send evacuation ships away.

    You control your fighter/gatherer ship by W,A,S,D. Space to fire. Hold Shift over planet to deliver resources.

    Your ship can hold up to 4 resources at a time, so you must deliver.

    Hold presing "Q", is pause/build menu where you can:

    -Build turret (black circles on perimeter)|Cost:10

    -Build Auto Gatherer, which every resource in it's area is collected for you (The 4 "x" spots around Omega)|Cost:10

    -Build an Evacuation Ship (White arrows around Omega)|Cost:6

    Each Evacuation Ship holds 10% of population.

    Each small commet destroys 10% of population.

    Big ones destroy 20%.

    Evacuation ship is vulnerable even to friendly fire.

    Last but not least, the white ring (mouse) is also used to aim commets at long range. The closest turret will fire anything in the Long Range Spot.
