  • For those who come after me - just untick the "use in-app clipboard" in construct 3 settings.

  • One person on the internet told me he could copy paste the contents of c3 array (from the visual editor i mean) to google sheets.

But it looks that it is blocked for me. I can copy contents of each elementby "entering" it, but can't copy all the array at once.

Have anyone ever encountered that? Maybe something blocks it? I have my adblocker disabled for construct 3.

  • dop2000 that sounds awesome!

If you'll make a version for tds games with that types tech you've described - fell free to ping me, i am very interested!

  • dop2000 i've spotted a template that caught my eye - https://www.construct.net/en/game-assets/game-templates/random-level-generator-48

Can it's technique be applied to a tds game, i wonder?

And create not only a row, linear level. But also use array like composition?

In the demo i saw levels that go

    1 2 3 4

    But i want like

    1 2

    3 4

  • Same here, can't login google to access my project

  • Thanks ! Yeah, i'm working on the game during my free hours, after my 9 to 5 office work as a hobby, so it takes long to develop :) Like two years, wow, can't beleive my own determination to finish it.

  • I want to thank everyone who voted fot Cold Shell at IndieDB once again.

  • +1 vote on Indie DB. Fantastic job and project! The timelapse video is impressive.

Thanks for the kind words, Sebastien :)

I am trying to put some considerable effort into Cold Shell.

  • Here is a fresh screenshot of Cold Shell :)

BTW made it to the top-100 at IndieDB - huge thx to all who voted!

  • Hello, fellow Construct users

I continue working on the Cold Shell (and it's going pretty well, regarding all that mess 2020 turned into). As before, i am not as active on the Construct forum as i should be, please forive me :(

The thing is, i would like to humbly ask you to click Vote at Cold Shell's page at IndieDB. Getting to top-100 games will provide a badge, that can be placed on Steam game's page. And it basically look good :)

So, here is a direct link for you - https://www.indiedb.com/games/coldshell. Registration is not required, so no pressure is applied.

Thank you in advance for your time.

  • AngelEyes it was not my license, but thanks anyway :)

When i've entered the site the icon showed me (2) notifications.

When i've clicked this thread notification it changed to (0).

So, the problem fixed itself. But it was weird anyways.

  • Hello Tom, Kyatric

I am not sure if it's a bug or me being stupid. But there is an icon next to my avatar showing that i have an unread notification. And it won't go away. I've tried to click on all the recent notifications, but it's still there. Here is how it looks like.

Would you kindly take a look and let me know how do i make it go away?

  • I'm using desktop C3 stable versions.

As Ashley suggested, i have unchecked the "Enable UI animations" in the settings.

It's 10 days already and i haven't encountered the gray out issue ever again.

So, in my particular case, i can confirm that it works.

  • Just for the history, i'm gonna give a try to what Ashley sugested, since i'm affected.

Menu - Setting - unchecked the Enable UI animations

What have i spotted right away is that the "preparing project data..." popup for browser tab preview now hides before the game is launched. While with the Enable UI animations checked, it's left behind, so when i returned from the preview to the editor, i still had half a second to spot the text.

Does Steam adds some layer of protection once we upload the game?

You probably shouldn't worry too much about it really. If you are doing a relatively small indie game - noone would even care to steal any of your assets. I have a game on Steam since 2017 (and working on a second one now) and it has no protection. Can't see any parts of my game anywhere yet.
