    Some say fire is like a living thing.

  • Couldn't you just use "animation is playing" inverted, along with the on click event in the condition?

    So it would be like:

    MouseKeyboard: On Left mouse button Clicked

    Sprite: Animation "Default" is not playing

    SpriteSet animation to "Default"

    And just like a toilet, anything you put in there is automatically tainted, and nooooobody's gonna wanna touch it.

  • Its a bug, and not a bug at the same time. I think whats happening is when you change the sprites size it affects collision detection for the whole world. So changing the size of the sprite should not be allowed, for this particular engine. Also, remember that all crashes are bugs.

  • I don't think there is something specifically for this. The first thing that comes to mind would be object is on screen, but that wont work if screen size is smaller than the layout. I would suggest a private variable, something like on creation set pv to 1, and on destroy set pv to 0, then if pv =0....

  • They stopped using metadata for ranking years ago from idiots abusing it.

  • Seriously, devs you need to decide what to do about the logo.

    Obviously from the tons of different versions its a major part of the design.

    Also there should be some more input as to what direction you want this to go, otherwise your either going to be stuck with a design your unhappy with, or your going to have to go pro and buy one somewhere.

    Anyway rants over... cept needs more teamwork, less clusterf^$k.

    Um that's when this thread was posted.

    There are two types of keywords you need to cover.

    The first is word of mouth, and you pretty much have that covered with Scirra, and Construct.

    The second is for search engines so yeah game maker would be a bit tough. Thing is you can add key words like "killer", "better", "similar", "open source", and even "like". So when people search for "game maker", and then they see "Game maker killer", or "like Game Maker", you can get better results, by simply filling in the gaps the other engines miss.
