  • If you have control of the server, and what ever method is used to point to the game, then a different directory is by far the most dependable method.

Its also better for testing, version control, etc.

  • Amazon iap never worked to begin with, and the export is almost certainly out of date.

Not to mention that there will be no C2 updates, or third party bug fixes ever again.

    Sorry.

  • I'm guessing that's a no.

  • If= ?

    Else= :

    You have to use both

  • Construct 2 function call parameter values are only available in the function call which is a triggered event lasting one tick. A wait goes beyond the tick, so the value goes to zero after the call.

I would suggest using instance variables, and timer behaviors.

It looks like you already have a dummy object that would work.

  • Looks like some kind of hacker-y circuitry-y tower defensey type game?

Yeah, tower defense mixed with king of the hill. Less circuity more megastructure/cyberpunky.

  • Just a thought. In C3 you could offset the texture of a Tiled Background using some trig for the direction angle. Then use a blend mode for a cutout mask. Not quite 3d, but kind of close.

R0J0hound I think you made a plug for C2 that would work the same.

  • Yeah I know it does dip a bit far into the 3d territory.

    Thanks for letting me know.

  • You might need to update the map when its spawned.

That needs to be done every time a new obstacle is added, however it shouldn't need to happen for each new pathfinding instance, also the map doesn't require a pathfinding instance to exist.

  • Ashley sorry to keep on about this, but I would like to know if a Z height is planned for object mesh vertices.

It was an awesome feature we had in Construct Classic, and obviously it opens up a huge amount of options.
