The only portal I know that treats developers decent is Gamejolt.
That being said the ads make it a bit janky, and the deployment is complicated.

That seems more like a nightmare to me. The scope is the group, reset every tick.
If you move something in the group that references the local it would screw up a bunch of stuff.
Um, its a bug that you can drag a local variable under a group.

So realistically it would be better to share the "gotchas" or bottlenecks than the cool tricks.
You would need to use a cloud service like Firebase.
There is no official method.
As for ELSE, per the manual it is as you state. I use ELSE quite religiously, so this is good to know.
I used to use it quite a bit, but they changed negated, or inverted to work with just about everything.
The only problem I see is that the browser just doesn't offer a viable monetization method. At least not in any way that would rely on being performant.
Windows Wrapper would most likely return equal results since it was done using Edge, but the wrapper is not a great option... yet.
If it restarted Chrome, and you have it set to override, and it says webgl is software only then it means you can't do it on the current hardware.
Again make sure you have "Override software rendering list" Enabled in flags.
What does your chrome://gpu/ say?
If you don't have WebGl accelerated then go to chrome://flags/ and try to see if its set to override.
Constant 60 fps here. There is a bit of z stuttering though, but I was seeing that anyways.

Sorry text.text does still have the bbcode, it will always be rendered if you put it back in to text.
You could probably store the string somewhere.
The text.text has no reason to store the bbcode it just rendered.
