  That would be due to OS, and hardware rather than C2.

  You could try stopping some other resources that are also using ram, as its most likely the culprit.

  Either it doesn't work as you are expecting, or its a bug.

  The problem is you can't create frames at runtime, and or create a collision polygon, not to mention there are a few issues with the format itself.

  Things like no partial transparency, limited colors, and those pesky expired patents.

  And then loading urls has its own set of issues as well, latency, cross domain, obfuscation, etc.

  The plug would work but you need to blur the image first.

  They aren't meant to work with pixel art.

  Traditional plugs work using a nearest neighbor formula to find where pixels differ.

  On start of layout only runs one tick, and you have no guarantee that your request will get there and back, let alone register in that time.
