  • I haven't tried it in a while, but the plug has a demo capx.

    So if that works then most everything else should.

    They don't tend to break stuff, just roll out new stuff out of the blue.

    I have a feeling the gamejam will be a disaster- using a buggy/untested product isn't going to go over well with people who want to make their games work in a short period of time.

    Well it's always been about what you can do with what you have. The problem starts when people equate what you shouldn't do, as something you can't do with the product.

    What they have is viable, it's just going to be very niche, at least till some really big advances come around, cli exporter, new runtime, etc.

    It pains me to say, but I just can't see the worth as is, not when I'm struggling with a saturated market, that this will only add to.

    Not to mention that the C2 store seems to have stagnated in response.

    Sos about not our job to do benchmarks.

    I guess development and bug fixing is deferred to answering the same questions, making pointless benchmarks on a beta product, and banning the same person over, and over.

    Obviously this isn't a product for making games, it's just for him to play one.

  • Yes to all unless you plan on having thousands of audio files as the second thread references.

    However if you do, it would now be more feasible as you can now edit the files into larger chunks and basically fast forward to a specific audio.

    A player either has a shot or does not have a shot, line of site would handle that. The number generated tells you if the shot hit, based on accuracy aka chance to hit, and possibly the damage given.

  • I'd say one seed per session.

    Forget collisions as well. The random number is your percent to hit. Displaying bullets is just aesthetics.

  • What would be nice is a snippets section where you just drag and drop events.

    I summon the great Yann for one more battle against code and syntax.
