  • My problem is the same or similar.

    My problem is: banners and interstitials are not showing.

    I am using the latest version of XDK and Scirra (beta) (downloaded it 1 or 2 days ago).

    I am using the official (Scirra provided) admob plugin.

    It used to work on before, on my other 2 Play Store games.

    Something I have tried, without desired effect: downgraded "CLI" in Intel XDK from 5.x to 4.x.

  • I am looking forward to have a Scirra-made plugin that provides Google Play Game Service achievements and leaderboards to be used in Google Play (so it should be made in a way that Intel XDK recognizes it), that can:

    • display an achievement that is just achieved
    • display list of all achievements the game is offering
    • (save and) display leaderboard

    I once tried the Scirra plugin, but some things (I forgot exactly what it was) did not work as well as the plugin from Cranberrygames.

    So I used Cranberry's plugin, but I am running into problems since the Intel XDK update.

    I dislike being dependent on 3rd party plugins. It is another variable I do not need.

    • google play is full with reskinned direct clones
    • if other people clone your game, it means you are doing well (hooray for you^^)

  • I am using Cranberry's plugin. I bought his package of plugins.

    Works, except for loading the achievements or leaderboards screen and returning to the game. Image then freezes, but game continues.

    usman Haq from what I understand: yes, but it decreases the quality and may sometimes be visible without zooming in.

    So I think this you can experiment and see if you are satisfied?

  • TinyPNG is lossy. We won't enable something like that by default, because it degrades the quality of your artwork.

    If you opt-in to PNG-8 format via the Image Format dialog in the image editor, C2 will apply similar tools to bring similar file size savings.

  • I am having a problem with the "phonegap game" plugin.

    Displaying achievements and leaderboards (Google Play Game Service) works fine,

    but the problem is: when I go back to the game, the game image freezes (the sounds and the actual game continues).

    So the screen is still (not updating anymore), but from the sounds, I can hear the game is still playing. Even touch input is still working.

    (My game is uploaded to the Play Store)

    Does this sound familiar to anyone?

    How can this be solved??

    I have tested it on 2 different mobile phones, from 2 different users, with android 4+ and 5+.

    Unfortunately the display also stops refreshing (sound and game itself continues) after leaving the achievement- or leaderboard screen.
