  • Ashley , are you playing a game currently and if so, which one.

  • Nice, thanks!

Plants is a nontraditional and nonviolent experience where you get full control over a growing flower.

You can use it from 2 to 20 minutes sessions to get into a flow as mindfulness training, or play it for whatever purpose you can think of.

There is only one goal: enjoy the scenery and have a pleasant experience.

    Features:

    • relaxing music
    • a stress relieving environment
    • family friendly content
    • full screen and windowed possibility
    • the option to mute sound effects and/or music

    Controls: mouse.

  • After I have uploaded my game ("New Bricks") on the Google Play Store, I find my game back on several other sites.

One downside for me is, if someone downloads it here, I can't see the download back in my own statistics.

    Some examples:

    I am wondering:

    • Is this legal?
    • What is your opinion about this?
  • Kyatric maybe at this to how do I - faq? Or isn't this seen as a faq?

  • 99Instances2Go Thanks for the example! May I ask 2 questions about your capx?

    1. why do you use a blank subevent under "start of layout"?

    2. In subevent 4 I see "if sprite.row = loopindex" and "if text.row = loopindex". What does this do? It seems that the example also works without these 2 lines?

Scirra has a place dedicated to requests.

Also, use of caps lock and exclamation marks are bad etiquette.

Please modify your topic title. It hurts my eyes.

  • Great behaviour, thanks

  • videf this sounds interesting. How do you change the angle though gradually so it looks quite smooth?

My clunky way (hopefully will come along and will show a more elegant way):

    create variable (number)

    every 0.1 second:
    [ul]
    	[li]variable = variable + 1[/li]
    [/ul]
    every tick:
    [ul]
    	[li]self.angle+variable[/code:g2bd09m1][/li]
    [/ul]
  • Looks very nice, good luck!

  • Intel XDK is Dead, now what ?

Why did Intel xdk stop (if they stopped anything)?

  • Interesting to read: (would this be possible with C2 or C3?)

    http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017- ... -nes-games

[quote:2ovnrkyo]"Once you start getting more modern than the NES, stuff like the Super Nintendo, it becomes way, way more complicated for a single person to tackle everything," Hanley says. "I think the NES is sort of right on the cusp of one person actually being able to develop all aspects of a game in a reasonable amount of time."

[quote:2ovnrkyo]In February 2017, Tomas Guinan, from Truro, Canada, decided to try making his own. Guinan experimented with NES ROMs and localisation in the '90s - even going as far as to singlehandedly translate The Glory of Heracles 2 - so he already had some knowledge of the system's innards. Plus he wanted a unique portfolio piece to help him break into game development as a career. Three months later, he'd made Eskimo Bob, a 2D platformer designed for the NES.

  • I am going to switch to C3.

First I will finish some games in C2, I'm not in a hurry to switch.

I am sure C3 will grow and evolve into much more than it is now (compare early C2 with C2 right now).

  • Maybe upload again? I once had an uploading problem where some files were not uploaded, which resulted in the problem you described.
