  • The creators want you to choose C3

  • ....but in order to access it you need to subscribe to C3!

Not just that but the Free version of C3 is keeping the whole "25 Events limit, No access to family feature" BS so even a C2 license owner would have to pay a subscription just to TEST a game they already made.

With a subscription business model you think they'd at least give you access to the whole engine and hold the file behind the paywall IF a user wants to export it. Softwares like Aseprite for example have a free version where you have access to all its features but cannot save the resulting images you create; it's all fair and good since you get to enjoy the product to its full potential before you decide you want a full version.

  • Maybe you have a "On start of layout | Create UI elements" event and forgot to delete the initial ones scattered around the layout on start of layout.

As zenox said, a CAPX would make all this much easier.

  • Dear all,

could you help me - am I alone who do not get the answers on my questions?

    Sincerely yours,

    Andy

Don't worry. It took me 1 year to get one of my questions answered. You're not alone.

  • C2 and 3 are excellent products for sure and I think C2 is well worth what I paid for it despite the all the exportation, monetization BS that we have to learn and relearn every time since it delivers in spades what it promises to do.

I've gone through the 5 stages of grief and have long accepted that a half decent APK/Ipa building process would just be icing on the cake.

    But that's coming from a C2 user.

I can't speak for C3 users who paid full price. I might get a chance at using C3 if I do well in these jams so my opinion may just change.

  • Yes but... Where is the Pirate Princess!?!?

    Right here:

    LOL 3 year bump.

  • Switched over to Mint from the motherload of ass that is Windows 10 last week and have been very happy with the change.

Tasks have become exponentially faster and Mint has no problem working with 2000+ nodes of a vector whereas simply displaying 2000 nodes meant a 3 minute lag for W10.

Anyway, most of the fundamental apps on Windows are available on Linux except C2 and as far as I know the options are:

    • Run C2 in Visual Box
    • Run C2 in Linux WITH compatibility layer software that is Wine.

I opted for option 2 and have managed to Install C2 and created a desktop Icon. Right-clicked on the C2 icon and set permissions to read-and-write. But somehow opening the program got me the "Debugger is present" error.

Anyone got this error before? I've done some research but haven't found a solution yet.

  • Thread + Email; it's been 1 day and STILL no response from you guys? Are you serious????

  • 5th attempt: 55/155 mb.

    Restarting again.

  • I've been trying to download the update to my PAID Cadberry games Cordova plugins for several days now.

It starts off at 500kbps but speed decreases to 30 kbps indicating download time of 50 minutes.

When the download is about 30-50% complete it says

    "Remote Server Closed Connection"

Now this normally would be okay for any other download since I use a download manager. I'd just find the link and resume the download from the point of disconnection but this one makes me start over again and fail every time. Isn't there a decent mirror for this download?

  • Must comply

I don't know how to implement Gamee's button/joystick interface but would it be ok to use my own graphics?

When running C2 in Windows 10, event dialogs are opening with a significant delay.

*When running [ANYTHING] in Windows 10, [EVERYTHING] has a significant delay.

    ^There you go.

I switched to a new laptop model in my workplace. I should be happy since the hardware is much much faster but lo and behold: Windows 10.

Tried a few of the recommended settings and it would become much much faster temporarily but back into a slug the next day. Now tasks that would normally take me 2 minutes have become 10 with added delays of opening an application with random lags in between.

Running C2 flawlessly now at home with my 2011 model, W7 laptop.

  • Operating System and Service Pack

    10

    ^There's your problem.

BOoted my W10 this morning. Slow as hell and froze randomly.

Did a hard reset and suddenly it was performing well.
