  • you can us e the older version 7 instead of 100( in the project properties look for v"version" drop down selection option) But the thread I mentioned earlier is something to keep an eye on. Keep in mind version 7 may not be accepted at the apps store. So gettiing 10 to work is crucial. Hope this helps :0)

I posted back in dec (page 129 of this thread) I did manage to solve the problem. Seems to have been a corupt file. Reverted back to a much earlier version of my project. With both the latest updates of Spriter and the plugin it's working fine. I tried to recreate the problem. again and again without any luck. I must have corrupted the file some how. Thanks for your help regardless everything is ok now:)

  • thank you, there have been a bunch of improvements as well. I'll be posting more of the changes over the next few weeks:)

    Dakoo has been Greenlit!

First off I have to say thank you to everyone that voted for, left comments or spent anytime looking at DaKoo. Without Construct 2 I don't know if I would be making games right now, so special thanks to Ashley and Tom, the Scirra team!! And all the people on the forums that have helped, ramones, cranberrygame, russpuppy, rexrainbow, R0J0hound and eli0s, just to name a few. Thank you!!

Please check out http://www.dakoogame.com if you haven't already, there you can see the trailer@ 60fps and read my very first blog post. Over the next while I'll be posting a lot more. Lots of things have been changed since I last posted an update. Major art changes, more characters. More bad guys and smarter bosses, are just a few of the changes.

I still really want to get as much feed back as possible before the final trailer is made, so I've also posted the a YouTube link bellow(sorry embedded videos are no longer working), but it only runs so I suggest using the homepage listed above. Adventures of DaKoo the Dragon has more than 100 levels, more randomized events to give the game more extended playability and I'm finishing up on a few more new things that I haven't announced yet. The game is nearing it's completion. If you haven't already, please check out the Facebook page.

You can see the trailer running fps at

it didn't work. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks again

    Mylon

it does help greatly, I think it's a must have with C2, imho.

  • Hi Lucid,

Posted on the spriter forums, thought I should post here as well.

I just updated spriter and the plugin for C2. Now when I export using XDK I can't see the spriter object. I reimported the spriter object into C2. Besides that nothing has changed in the project. When previewing over WiFi with Chrome (on android) the Spriter object shows. But it does not show in XDK emulate tab or the final APK.

I have noticed when I click on the spriter file(scml or scon) from the exported folder it (Spriter R2) tells me the path is not correct . When I correct the path according to spriter the images show again, but only in spriter not the compiled apk, or the emulate tab of XDK. Until now spriter was functioning 100% in XDK and on my android tablet. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance:)

  • Congrats on Steam! Well deserved!

  • Since your just starting out, it would make your life easier to buy it directly here. Like zenox said you just can't have multiple users but you can use it on multiple machines. For spprites any art program will do, Photoshop, Corel Painter, or any of the free ones like paint.net.

For sound effects there are some that are included when you purchase, but there are lots of sites that offer stock sounds, which can be editted with Auducity which is also free. Hope this helps. Cheers

  • ramones,

both versions work great! But the latest one seems to be flawless, and it's solved the problems I was having. thanks for putting in the time to optimize and reupload it!! makes a huge difference. Cheers
