  • thanks for the example!

The problem I'm having is the shadow keeps skipping around, and is getting bigger instead of smaller when the gravity is changed. I'm using Gravityzones, A little different then the example but I'll take a look and post back once I change things to line up with your example. Thanks again ramones!

Thanks for the example. I've already replaced my player shadow in the standard levels. Though I am having a problem trying to add this to my gravity based levels. You can see the game in the following link

    it will probably explain better.

I guess my question is how do I compensate for the the constant change in gravity? any ideas would be a great help, thanks

  • I haven't added ads yet but will being doing so soon, I'll post if I need help. Thanks for everything cranberrygame!

Check failure! This is probably a bug:

  • I would love to make an icon, what size would you like ? Any idea what you want for the image, maybe a cartoon cranberry with a face? Just let me know what your thinking and I'll do some samples up. Whatever I can do to help:)

  • Great stuff, IF I can help with art in anyway let me know. I can also test , but have no experience with admob so far. Regardless let me know if you need assistance. Thanks:)

  • and Codah

Thanks for the info, this will help a ton:) will try this out this week.

    Cheers

  • I don't really care if there is native, though it would be nice to see a final solution that sticks with easy to follow tutorials. It needs to be made simple and easy for even the newest of users to follow. Atm, there is a lot to sort through just to get an idea of what will work. The time could be spent better on development once there is a fully detailed, working solution that is permanent.

If anyone has figured out how to get ads working with crosswalk I would love to read about it, please link me. Thanks in advance

  • Lovin' the art, just had to say:)

  • Thanks again. Have to say the Secret of Nimh is my favorite animated movie of all time and even would make my top ten list:)

  • revvin

Thanks, this is my first game so I have made a ton of mistakes. I will definitely look over the walk anim. I really love all the critiques, DaKoo would still be tiled art if not for the opinions in this thread. I just hope all that commented can see how much their suggestions have helped! Thanks for your criticism, they are much appreciated as well!

The backgrounds came about after Tom posted his blog post. I have always loved rayman, and Don Bluth animation, so after his blog post I re did everything, no more tiles. I now use a collage of images to make the layouts:) and this has cut the memory usage down to one third. Only drawbacks are the time it takes for each one:)

  • sqiddster and arima have points you could always ask if anyone has or knows of assets you can use. That said a quick google search can lead you to tons of free to use assets. Just make sure they are free for commercial use if you are going to sell your game/s. Good Luck

  • UPDATED July 2, 2014

    Hey all

I've just finished the new trailer for Adventures of DaKoo the Dragon, and there are a lots of changes.

I really wanted to get as much feed back as possible so I've also posted the a YouTube link bellow(sorry embedded videos are no longer working), but it only runs so I suggest using the homepage listed above. Some of the changes include, art work has been reworked one last time, sounds have been added for things like water, footsteps, Factory impacts and so on. More levels ( over 100) and Gravity based Vortex levels. I'm finalizing bosses atm but the game is nearing it's completion. If you haven't already please cast your vote on steam and check out the Facebook page.

You can see the trailer running fps at

  • Have to agree with newt:)

you should really try both, C2 has a free version. If you experience is anything like mine, you'll want a license. The free version is impressed me so much. when I first downloaded C2 I was looking for software to review for my site, but once I started messing with it I couldn't stop. I started making a big game, platformer. The Review was put on the back burner. I ran into problems getting it to run on my tablet. without even being asked Ashley offered to help by take a look, and the suggestions have made all the difference. If you go over the forums and look you'll see this is a somewhat frequent occurrence here. That help is what makes C2 standout, and is something to support.

Don't get me wrong I get frustrated that things aren't exactly like I would want, like native exporters. And I really know very little about Clickteam. But I can say if you have a problem people here help. And that is rare in my experience. Not at least checking out the free version before you start your project would be a mistake imho:)
