  • Sorry text.text does still have the bbcode, it will always be rendered if you put it back in to text.

newt Thanks for the reply. Yes it shows in the Inspector. I was working on someone else's code and thought the bbcode find in there was part of the issue.

  • Actually, your code is lying to you!

gwerneck Actually I was lying to myself as I created that code to post here! :-)

    Thanks for the reply.

  • Thanks. I was hoping that might work but it didn't.

  • Looking to see if you can use the find command to see if text contains a certain BBcode. The test below doesn't find the BBCode

  • Ashley closed the case and said the issue would be corrected in the next beta.

  • I've open a bug report on this but just thought I'd post in case others are having this issue. Basically when I use the audio object in r236 and export to web (HTML5) using minify it will not export and displays the following message:

Minifying this export failed. Check the browser console (press F12) for error details. This is usually caused by the JavaScript code in your project, or a third-party addon.

  • Yes I've successfully implemented a Construct 3 game at GameDistribution.com. I'm both a developer and publisher and have always been able to view the games. On the upload page they have several links you can try out. Be sure to click the "Click here" link as the "non cached" and "cached" links indicate that they only show the approved versions of your games.

As far as Game Distribution goes, I've not had any problems with them and have had good support from them when I needed it. The money I make off the games wouldn't be worth it for me (math games aren't exactly super popular) but I mainly do it for branding purposes. I have one developer I work with who indicated the most he's made off a game is $25 a month. Don't know what game it was but I'd guess it was a puzzle game.
