  • You're welcome. Glad you got your grid sorted now :D

  • Have you seen the "snap to grid" and "show grid" options on the view options tab?

Otherwise the most accurate method would be to set positions using the object editor on the left side.

  • Hi a neat suggestion would be a toggle for being able to select through transparency, for example you have an object that is predominantly transparent, but sits on top, its hard to manouver round and select the object you need (to move for example).

As I stated more a cosmetic enhancement but would make it less faffy in times :)

  • Thanks Eisenhans :) will revert back to 143 cheers.

  • Ah ok just seen the related bug report. Doh. Apologies, feel free to delete this post / archive it :)

  • Just recreated and exported the project in no beta version to see if I still got the same export problems.

Project exported fine and works fine on browser

Lion Core Games - Boulder Way - No Beta Test Build

  • Hi

So prior to the update 1.44 I had no issues when exporting, now it would seem that something breaks when exporting to either html5 or desktop.

Would someone be able to try out lioncoregames.com/iddyums/test to see if it loads for you?

At least then I can determine if it is a browser issue (although it works fine in preview, and was working fine prior to 1.44) - tested this with a few projects and got the same.

Didnt want to report it as a bug until this was determined.

Also the latest 1.43 and 1.44 no longer load for me through steam (c2 crashes during load)

    Thanks for any help :

  • Happy birthday Ashley.

Have a good un. All the best from Lion Core Games.

  • Hey everyone, here's a little game I pretty much made within the week. The bird is placeholder and the sounds are all too, currently. Lacking the final polish, but mostly there.

I plan to upload it to the arcade, once I've finalised it, bought sound fx and redrawn the bird etc.

I've based it on a similar tower building game, so that I am now only able to learn to use C2 in a fun way, but while working on a project that I understand as its 80% mapped out, with some of my own take on it.

AIM: to build your tower and go for as long as you can. watch out for the birds, mind. Enter your name in the top right on starting as it'll save your scores.

LMB = Drop Block / Destroy Block

RMB = Rotate Block Before Dropping / Rotate Block Thats Been Dropped.

RMB also bats away the birds.

Enjoy and let me know what you all think. Thanks. Liam

  • Hi Codeman

One of the simplest methods would be to use the pin behaviour.

Create a spike ball and then create a middle object which you will pin the spike to. This middle object, when rotated, rotates the spike ball :)

You can download an example Capx at ROTATING OBJECTS

    Hope this helps :)

  • A workaround for using a boolean (makes life easier cos you can just toggle it then) - attach the boolean to an object, like a text object.

    1. Create A Text For "GAME PAUSED" message.

    2. Give it a Boolean "PAUSED" instance variable.

    3. On Press "P" Key or pause button - Toggle Text.PAUSED

    4. Sub Event checks state of Text.PAUSED

    5. Pause / UnPause using TimeScale accordingly :)

  • Would be great if these could be re-uploaded. Best L
