  Mask = a sprite with 3 animation frames that you put over your character sprite with an effet like additive or something, that will render this charging effect.

  It's probably by design.

  If you have trouble with this behavior as it is, you can always intercept the jump key with the keyboard object, and make the behavior act as you like. (preventing it from jumping again and rather sliding)

  The plugin Call JS by Joe7 sounds like a real integration of javascript calls.

  And also like Ashley said, the SDK allows you to make your own custom plugin/behavior to really fit your needs.

  I think it's quite a powerful combination that does not remove

  Also

  No built-in support for version control, team work.

  The use of version repository (svn) is totaly doable since the projects are in XML format (when saved as project folder).

  There isn't indeed an option "load from repository" in C2 but is that truely necessary ? (honest question, I haven't worked in team using this method).

  You can use to make the client thanks to the websocket plugin (in the plugins forum).

  The server is a piece of software that needs to be coded and hosted outside of C2.

  Not sure what you mean by "materials saved in flash".

  But basicly, there's (or better be) no interaction between flash and html5.

  So it is unlikely for HTML5 to display flash, especialy since it is supposed to take over it in the next years.

  But you can do banners as an html5 application and display them on top of websites.

  Well at the time, ID software was an indy company, and Doom as a shareware was somewhat of an idny game yes.

  But it was a long time ago. A time that the younger can't remember or know. Internet didn't exist, HD TV didn't either.

  CD players were the hot novelty and processors went up to 100 MhZ.

  A phone looked like that :

  It wasn't mobile, you had to plug it to some line for it to work.

  Oh and there wasn't game for it (not really).
