  • Oh wow, I really should go to bed. Indeed, wrong bug. <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Wronghands: Your issue with the iFrame is maybe not a bug.

    Sorry for the misguidance.

  • tokenat(src, index, separator)

Return the Nth token from src, splitting the string by separator. For example, tokenat("apples|oranges|bananas", 1, "|") returns oranges.

    System expressions in the manual

    Unless I missed something.

  • As Yann said, use the spritefont custom plugin.

I'm pretty sure though there should be a way to turn the image into a ttf font and use the method to make your own webfont and use it in C2.

  • Well if you could set a bunch of clickboxes on it, that would direct the search.

Like "All" (the website (checking all the boxes by default)), "Forum", "Tutorials", "Manual", "Arcade", etc...

The view unread_post.png on the index of the forum, or in the list of topics of a forum.

  • Just to bump this in case Tom missed it.

This is still happening and still annoying.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Well, there's many things which work on Chrome and FF and not on I.E. and not all are I.E. bugs.

I'd be curious to hear more about that.

  • This is really a strange behavior.

Also I don't really see how the browser object may interact with the sprite objects.

Try maybe to uninstall/reinstall C2. Eventually download it again (in case of somehow corrupted file on download).

Maybe make sure also you graphic card drivers are up to date. Updating the drivers may often have surprising effects on the other softwares.

  • A staff member on toribash.com posted about it.

I checked it out. Used CC from there.

And when C2 began to be discussed, it caught my attention, I saw the potential.

The very first public release did not hook me that much (it wasn't particulary featured truth be told ^^).

But quickly after, as it was getting more and more featured at an incredible pace (a matter of months with releases each couple of days at some points) I totaly went to use it in priority and became more involved in the community.

In my eyes C2 is superior to CC. It's subjective and mostly a matter of taste, but just consider the way you use variables in expressions in C2 compared to CC. No more tedious global or value arrays. Haaaaaaaa

    ^^

I still have a lot of appreciation and respect for CC though, as I learned such a great deal from it and it really paved the way for the fantastic tool that C2 is now.

I'm also expecting the soon to be released next version of CC.

I think its users will be thrilled and it will shut some of the rumors of CC being abandonned.

  • This sounds like an IE bug (since it works correctly in Chrome and FF).

Report the bug to microsoft/IE developpers.

A quick search on google sent me to this article.

  • Wronghands: For bug reports prefer to make them in the bugs forum following the instructions on how to report bugs. This is the better way to be sure that Ashley treats/fixes it.

Be sure to post though, I reproduced the bug according to your steps.
