  • You might also want to check the How do I FAQ

    In the section "Audio" :

lay a random sound - LINK

Which should contain some other examples capx.

  • vandinz: Stay on the lookout, there are often contests on scirra.com and other website which prices contain licenses for C2.

Be sure to check "Official Scirra Blog" in your "Edit your profile" page, there should be some news in the coming weeks/months.

  • Actually, if your main/top event is a "For Each", it will pick each instances one by one and apply the actions to it, one by one.

Maybe you should post a capx of your current implementation and a full detailed explanation of what you're trying to do.

  • Check my tutorial Asteroid clone in less than 100 events, the "audio system" is doing just what you want to do.

Keep your music files in the music folder, and be sure to tag it when you play it (tag it "BackgroundMusic").

At the end of your layout, Audio: Stop "BackgroundMusic" and on start of the next layout, Play file tag "BackgroundMusic".

Check the tutorial for a more detailed explanation and working example.

  • I have the same graphic card, in a win 7 pro OS.

The export works, graphics and text display, music/sound plays, as intended.

I'm being stuck at the very beginning of my game though (I exported my old Drop Da Piew for test) since I'm awaiting the user to write its name in a textbox object, which appears to not register the new characters.

Apart from that and other unexpected things (but mentioned in the changelog, something about the bullet behavior changing the angle I guess) it seems to be working as it should.

It's only a windowed exe. Ashley, if you need it, I can upload it and let you test it/check the capx if you want.

  • Welcome to all the various new comers.

Still a lot of diversity in backgrounds and countries. You gotta love it.

Keep it up guys and girls and welcome on the forums.

  • Dakiu: The preferred language in the whole forums is English indeed.

Other languages are tolerated as long as there is an English translation (even a google translate one) in the same post.

It makes it easier to moderate the forums and for many people to get the informations they want.

At last, there are non-English communities which are listed there.

  • First people cried because there was no .exe exporter.

Now that one is provided, it's not good enough yet.

Simple solution guys, don't use the exe exprorter, you won't have to pay the price asked for it.

And indeed, the pro license is per application. It's awesomium's policy.

As far as questions about awesomium licensing they should be asked on awesomium's website to prevent misinformation.

As well as cries and "oh they should rather make it..." type of comments.

  • Indeed, I can't reach the platform either.

What's your computer specs and OS ?

Anyway, if you change the value of jump strength the platform is reachable.

Ashley any idea about this ?

  • Sounds like a chrome bug.

  • It's hard to say without you posting a capx for us to see how you coded/implemented your game.

The platform behavior is framerate independent so there shouldn't be differences.

  • Oh ok, I read again the first post.

You need to check for a collision between the zombie and the wall. On that collision set the animation of your zombie.

Once it happens, you need to not move the zombie again (so your moving event needs another condition, like a check on a boolean, or an animation already not playing).

And at the end of this animation, destroy the wall, and set the zombie to move again.

Example capx the zombie follows the mouse cursor.

  • In the how do I FAQ there are several examples of "patrol"/"patrolling" objects, which is what you are trying to do.

Also, please don't bump half an hour after having made a new thread.

Wait at least a few hours before any kind of bump.

  • And you also have the examples from the "how do I FAQ" in the "Scrolling / Camera" section that are examples of how to do several type of scrollings/cameras.

  • Ash & Tom sure deserves our thanks.

So here's one hundred thanks for the r100.
