  • Be also sure to check the how do I FAQ that contains technical examples and explanations of various elements you can use for labyrinths/mazes.

Also I believe that if you look for the keyword "maze" on these forums, you'll find more elements than you need.

  • Perhaps your device/iOS can't handle so much in memory at once.

Your capx is 190 Mo which is pretty big, and mobile devices aren't as capable as desktop computers from an hardware perspective.

Have a look at this blog article and see if you can reduce the amount of memory required.

  • Tutorials translations are appreciated.

Simply go and use the "Know another language? Translate this tutorial!" in the left bar of any tutorial to begin a translation of it.

I don't think there's a need for a request or anything, this is a community effort, and I, for one, can't speak Spanish, so wouldn't be able at all to translate my own tutorials in Spanish.

If you feel like translating them, go ahead :)

For the manual, atm, there's only English but translations for it are also planned in the long run.

  • newt: too cheap, I'd rather buy humble porn.

  • I personally did not know about it. Thanks for posting, that's the kind of tools that might help me.

  • Note that this will only work at runtime though.

The view in the editor is fixed. Though through the scroll action (or ScrollTo behavior) the "starting view" will change on execution start.

Maybe you may want to have a look at this thread for more explanations/tips.

  • zatyka: True, what matters most during any game jam is to make a finished/playable game in the end. It makes valuable experience.

The theme is a guideline at best. Respecting it might be a self-imposed challenge to work ones skills.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • zatyka: well to be honest, I haven't been convinced by most of the themes in voting so far. I see themes that have been proposed during the last LD coming back, and overall wasn't greatly excited by the themes proposed.

I must admit most of my votes have been 0s. A fistful of +1 and some -1 for themes I really don't want to see.

I don't know yet if I'll actively participate (I already have some others activities scheduled for this week-end) but who knows, if inspiration strikes me and if I feel I can make a game in either the limits of the compo or the jam, I'll try my best at it.

Also, as for each LD, there is an "alternative" theme challenge. For this LD it is "Tower defense vs Tower Offence" ^^ (there is even a "movement" for "Tower Potatoe", go figure ^^)
