spy84: I expressed myself wrongly I guess.
Instead of "only" I meant mostly, and I'm just saying that either you're a coder or not, there are advantages in using Construct2. It sure lowers the entry barrier for non-coders, but it is still a major tools that even "true coders" can appreciate.
And it's not because you keep asking for something that Scirra isn't capable of delivering as a small startup that it will happen.
Coding is a thing, knowing the business side of things is another.
Knowing when a demand is unrealistic is important too.
—: The statement about coding wasn't directly directed at you but more a general reply. Also I bet you could do pretty much all you would do with a "3D object" through Spriter and it's already supported by Construct2. Coding has nothing to see with that issue.
General: Ashley already gave his answer about the 3D request. It's not for now, so yeah, patience. There are more important things to bring to C2 first (for example finishing the debugger feature he has started) than rushing into something huge like "3D support" (which indeed probably would be a full new software with possibly years of design and development before being viable).
You can discuss the matter for 30 pages, it won't change that simple fact.
