  • Ah this is the Construct Classic section, the old freeware/open source program that only works on Windows (since it uses DirectX 9).

Also, I've not seen this problem before, can you give me a link to the site and I'll try it in my Firefox?

You can post your question in the Construct 2 "How Do I?..." forum for better support!

  • Wow, that looks great! I like the color mixed with elements of Limbo style <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Awesome! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> Your game looks great <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I think I remember events actually being faster than Python in most cases (as Python is interpreted, while the core of events in CC are compiled from C++), not sure about that though.

  • Ah, that's a Construct 2 feature sadly. Your best bet is to set the levels to load memory/objects per-layout (project settings I believe?), then just have the first layout either be a "loading" screen or a menu.

    Hope that helps!

  • Happy birthday! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I always felt CC was still capable of making full games like this, great job! Can't wait to purchase when it comes out <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Edit: Bought! once again it looks like a great game <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • ghost all for Construct Classic, but if you're using Construct 2 you can try this plugin: http://www.scirra.com/forum/plugin-3d-using-copperlicht_topic49881.html

  • DFOX, not yet sadly, but you can use the web browser on Xbox 360 to load something made in HTML5. I think so far only the touch/mouse left click is registered, but WiiU export should be coming in the near future I've heard <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Yeah, to create in C: drive or Program Files you'll need to have your game run as an administrator <img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

However, the first action to save to the appdata folder is working on my 64 bit Win8 machine. It creates the file in C:\Users[myusername]\AppData\Roaming\</p>

  • Just save in %appdata%\ it should automatically go to the right folder. At least, it does in Windows 7 and 8 <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Wow, really awesome job on the 3D perspective, fun game too <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
