    Well, it depends on the application, I also have a threshold below 0.40% but they are the least, the majority have exceeded that threshold and everything since then.

    How do you track failures on a test device to know which SDK is failing? Do you use Android Studio connected to the test mobile? or how do you do it?

    This way I could see those errors and polish the application.

    Although I mention that there were no such errors before and perhaps Construct should take a look at how the new version of Android behaves so that we do not have to worry about SDK errors as they were before.

    Ashley I wanted to ask you about the ANR errors that Construct 3 is producing since Android has switched to SDK 34 and has incorporated android 14.

    I have been able to look at the ARN error graphs of my games and applications and I can say that it is quite evident how since that event that was about July 10-12 approximately in all my applications and games the ARN error rate has skyrocketed, going from having an average of between 0% and 0.1% to a current average that exceeds in almost all cases the 0.80% of ARN errors.

    This is being a first level problem, because google play has a maximum threshold of 0.40% in the ARN error rate and being above this 0.40% is affecting the positioning and therefore downloads and revenue.

    In my case I am having drops in number of downloads due to loss of positioning. In fact if you go to google play console you can see this error rate with a red admiration if it exceeds 0.40%.

    I would like you to start working on solving this, because it produces a lot of instability to applications, stability that before if there was because I never had to worry about something and the graph of ARN errors was almost zero before that 10-12 July.

    I hope your response and that other colleagues can say if they also this is happening to them.

    I compiled a project to see if I could find out the current admob SDK.

    I opened the file with Visual Code: play-services-ads.properties

    Inside I found this written:

    version=20.6.0

    client=play-services-ads

    play-services-ads_client=20.6.0

    So, I confirm that we are in an obsolete version!

    I hope Ashley resolves it as soon as possible and we can start updating all our applications, in my case I have many.

    Ashley please, let's see if you can have the purchase plugin before August 2, because otherwise the production of new games for which we are dedicated to creating mobile games will be in serious danger. I think that if we pay for the subscription to Construct it is fair that you worry about such important things as updating the billing library for google play, giving high priority over new features of Construct 3. I hope you can work quickly on this update and we will have it before August, for the sake of Construct 3.

  • This is perfect to know the total pixel count, thank you! But.... what would happen if in the centre of a drawingCanvas I deleted part of the object with a "Clear Rectangle" action?

    Those missing pixels will not be taken into account. Any suggestions? thanks a lot!

    I need to know how to calculate the number of total pixels of a Canvas (DrawingCanvas), This canvas can have blurred areas and there comes the problem that it is not a perfect square or rectangular area.

    I have a problem when I compile my game for iOS, when it has to get to the ad it doesn't show interstitial ad, and the videoReward didn't work either. I have compiled several games for iOS and have never had this current problem.

    I tell you the process:

    1. Compile from C3 for iOS Xcode project.

    2. I compile in Xcode version 12.2 (the latest version) on a mac with the latest updated version of macOS Big Sur 11.0.1

    The whole game works perfect, but when it has to show ads it doesn't show them. The most curious thing that in Admob I can see that the request for the ad has occurred, but no ad has been shown. This verifies that the ads in C3 are configured properly.

    Also this same game on Android works perfectly, with ads working well.

    Does anyone know why the ads are not showing?

    Is it happening to someone else?

    I've been trying to export my project to iOS for 2 days and I get an error in the Mac Xcode that never happened to me.

    I attach images with the errors.

    I have always been able to export to iOS without any error, but this time the error appears and I don't understand why. I don't know if it's due to the latest stable version of Construct, but the problem seems to be coming from a class in the AdmobAdlert plugin.

    When I used construct 2 and compiled for mobile I used the coccon share plugin to share my captures, however in construct 3 I have not been able to find how to share my image saved in LocalStorage value.

    Anyone help me to know how it is shared? Any little tutorial for it?
