  for windows 8, you can add ads right in visual studio. you sign up with a ads key by microsoft, and then there is a builder within visual studio. So, you can export your project with construct then add the ads via visual studio.

  For IAP I use the IAP options within the windows plugin that comes with construct if I recall correctly

  Has anyone successfully made an app that uses the windows 8.1 or windows 8.1 camera? I tried the camera example but it says it is not available when I run it in windows.

  From other software?

  I don't know about you...but I don't check my task manager after every install. If you installed 10 items since you last checked...it could have been any of them.

  Some spyware lay dormant, it could have been from forever ago.

  You could have a virus that repackages your software. Meaning it makes it "look" like software is infected when really there is a bigger issue, something on your system is adding it to it.

  There are many possibilities.

  Hello,

  Could we get better windows 8 and windows phone live tile support? Right now it is not very useful. There is no option for switching the tile image, just text. Also, it is not working for windows phone unless you manually let tiles work inside of the c2runtime script.

  Unless I am missing something, if I am please let me know.

  thanks, but I was looking for something more convenient.

  ie: setting scale is easy, simply set scale = x

  usually if you can set something, you can get it just as easy

  I did try an older windows app (made pre R187) on R187. I had to make some changes. I ended up replacing certain files until the errors stopped.

  It would have been faster for me to start a new windows project with visual then trying to merge the old and new files.

  That has already been added. It's in r186+.

  Where is this option Ashely? I have right now r187 and I do not see this option

  There's auto save, then there's backup. Go to the Backup tab, Auto-backup: Keep up to x backups(s) in folder when saving

  interesting. my bad for not diving deep enough.

  I suppose the last thing I would want that actually is not there (and if it is, it has not been pointed out) is to auto save every time you test the app.

  It already does x number of backups. But I agree it can be improved.

  Auto saving to .caproj instead of .capx would be good.

  Per-project backup folders .

  Am I blind, where do you see x number of backups?? I only saw an option to change how often the backup is done

  So, after having Construct crash on me for the first time and losing some work I was hoping we could get some basic auto save features.

  1) Multi backup (keep x number of auto saves).

  2) toggle auto save on testing project

  I am sure there is more, but I feel these to be the biggest in reducing the risk of losing your work.

  Ideas, suggestions?
