[request] more auto save options

So, after having Construct crash on me for the first time and losing some work I was hoping we could get some basic auto save features.

1) Multi backup (keep x number of auto saves).

2) toggle auto save on testing project

I am sure there is more, but I feel these to be the biggest in reducing the risk of losing your work.

Ideas, suggestions?

It already does x number of backups. But I agree it can be improved.

Auto saving to .caproj instead of .capx would be good.

Am I blind, where do you see x number of backups?? I only saw an option to change how often the backup is done

There's auto save, then there's backup. Go to the Backup tab, Auto-backup: Keep up to x backups(s) in folder when saving

I would like to be able to have more backup locations though; right now the limit is 3. I'd like to have C2 autobackup to 2 local drives and 2 cloud drives (dropbox and google drive). There are other ways to handle this of course, but it feels reassuring to set it all up in C2.

I suppose the last thing I would want that actually is not there (and if it is, it has not been pointed out) is to auto save every time you test the app.

Only issue would be the time taken to save every time you want to preview your app (if it's a big app or even medium). If it did it in the background would be ok.

Where is this option Ashely? I have right now r187 and I do not see this option

I now see that the option is built into the drop-down menu.

Ashley is there a way to add a seperate auto save setting? So we may do not only save by frequency but also save after preview.

I don't understand, there's already a 'auto-save after preview' setting. What other settings do you want to see added?
