  • - Support for CW 11 requires an update from the Intel XDK. I can't say when it will be released, but soon

  • TiAm - I brought this up internally. I will try to keep you updated!

  • Try Construct 3

  • Looking at her message, there was a failure to download the plugin. It could have been moved from the Cordova registry, or Github had a hiccup. I will try to look into this more.

  • Ashley - that's not a plugin we maintain, there are very few we do, and they are all com.intel.*

Can someone post the full build log of what the error is when using the C2 default IAP and the Admob plugin? We'll try to see if it's a bug in the plugin or both plugins requiring a common file (like android-support-v4.jar)

  • Furdy - which issue? The local storage/cookie issue when upgrading from CW7-CW10 has been resolved.

TiAm - Our next XDK release will have better wording for the crosswalk version.

  • FredQ - The issue was only for Crosswalk 9+, it was never an issue with Crosswalk 7 (due to Chrome adding multiple profiles).

  • cesisco - Thanks. Any chance you can send me the CW7 build too? Sorry, I can't send PM's yet.

  • When you build, select Crosswalk Beta - this is Crosswalk 10

  • Zenny - It's always best to build an app and test it, versus just using App Preview. It sounds like you may have been testing the Android WebView and not Crosswalk. Crosswalk has better support for touches (including multi-touch).

  • Scofano any chance you can get me the apps in an APK that are slow. I've confirmed too that there are performance issues and I'm trying to get various samples to give to the Crosswalk team.

Just to note, I think the issue is actually in Chromeium core. I tried Google Chrome 40 on Android browser and regular CSS animations suffer. The stock browser of a Galaxy S3 works much better.

  • Scofano - I wouldn't go that far... What is the issue? Are you talking about the SSL Warning? This has been resolved in the XDK Builds for crosswalk

  • - the size change is due to the Crosswalk WebView being added. You can build with regular android to get the reduced file size, but you will find your game will most likely be unplayable.

  • Hi - you may want to ask this question at forums.html5dev-software.intel.com/ - that is the Intel XDK support area.

Are you building for Crosswalk or Android?

  • Hi TiAm

I ran a test using App Preview and the XDK using crosswalk. I had it load upwww.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html and WebM and MP4 worked fine. Ogg/Theora did not load.

  • Hi TiAm - sorry I'm jumping into this issue later. I will try to get in touch with the Crosswalk Team to see what the status is. I know there can be problems with redistributing codecs because of IP issues.
