  • every particle system in each game is different and it uses different technology, the particles used in Construct are limited to those options, in broforce i guess they used their own particle system where they can make then have physics and collide with the ground.

i would like Construct 3 to have an entire particle editor system, what i do is to create my own particles using just sprites and tons of event sheets.

  • i was wondering if with Construct 3 we are going to have better methods for monetization? like video ads, banners, etc... since in Construct 2 all that had to be done with third party plugins.

  • thats not a bug, c3 doesnt shows that and lets you rotate the object by grabbing the corners, but i will like to have it back

  • as an user of Construct since 2012 i have to say that i didnt believe that Construct 3 was going to make me change from C2 and i tought that the chrome idea was bad, now i been working with C3 doing some small examples and testing it and i gotta say that i just love it, its C2 but 10 times more comfortable, i know the UI is not done yet but i like the changes it have, and being able to open my projects in any computer is amazing, I would have liked to have something like this when i was on school having to bring C2 on a usb to use it on my school's library, its really amazing and i have to say like always, Scirra thinks about the future, i will always remember arguing with Ashley about C2 perfomance back in 2013 and he told me "in 2 years phones will be able to run any html5 game without problem" and yes, he was right, so thats why i think that Construct 3 is aiming to the future, maybe is too early for people to understand the power of working on a browser, but im sure that browser based tools are the future.

  • Construct 3 is on open beta! go and try it, its really amazing and it runs on mac without problems (needs chrome)

  • cool! good to know that the website is not done yet hehe i tought it was gonna be left like that forever.

  • cause i feel is really empty and some designs are out of place

    empty stuff:

i think it really needs a new rebranding, maybe hiring a graphic designer that is specialized in branding will help a lot.

  • > but who knows, maybe they had an intern there who they let have a go in the tabs. :p

    >

No, the tabs are all my fault C2 has multicolor tabs too, and this was meant to be the C3 equivalent of that. But the main thing is our designer Paulo hasn't had a chance to go over the editor UI yet, so it's all programmer-art equivalent of UI design at the moment. We'll get Paulo to look over it soon.

if we are going to keep the multicolor tabs it will be cool if we could put the color we want to the tabs so we can be more organzed in our projects.

  • we used to have a button for zooming to 100% in one click, since we dont have the top bar i think it will be good if we could just double click the right corner where it says "zoom" to zoom it to 100% in a fast way.

  • post updated with a Layout size feature

  • lol i didnt knew that was updated!

  • i noticed that there is new people tagged as "scirra employees" on the forum, how many are them and what are their names so we can know each other better? in what stuff are they working at? how many are on c3? can we ask for that information Ashley ?

  • I love the new start page! I now like c3 but what I can see it's that is full of bugs!!!! Too many
