  • Thanks

I fixed my spelling error and made the other blank with a delete request.

  • I made my first tutorial:

...and saw a spelling error when I tried to edit it I created a new copy instead. How do you edit and delete a tutorial?

  • I made this quick tutorial for you that will give you an idea about the power of families.

  • Windowless Rendering

Render web-pages to any graphics surface, 3D texture, or otherwise. Perfect for use in games, multi-touch simulations, and more.

I understand that this will finally give us the power to make standalone windows program, but am I reading it wrong that I could use Awesomium to make a game for my Nook Color (crippled android tablet)?

  • this seems a bit off to me... If he wins the 10k prize thats cause his entry was the best it doesnt matter what he made it with so why should he have to buy a c2 licenses if he wins just cause he used c2 to make his entry?

He didnt make 10k by SELLING things made with c2 which is whats implied by the business licenses right?

Besides the C2 TOC it would just be good form to buy the license since you would not have won without it.

    It just makes sense.

  • Thanks Ashley. Great News.

I hope it will be easy to make the exe.

  • I recently needed a quick little game for sick child, and it had to be an .exe. So I downloaded Construct Classic to punch it out. I NEVER expected to go into retro land as I had to look up some simple things that changed now that we have moved to C2. For example:

    Construct Classic

System Set Global varible 'ResultNumber' to

    floor(Random(global('MyRandomNumber')))+1

    Construct 2:

    System Set ResultNumber to

    floor(Random(MyRandomNumber))+1

How quickly we adapted to the differences in C2!

Has anyone else found it harder to go back to Construct Classic? And I would love to see an .exe for C2 some day.

  • Try Construct 3

You can see by the date of the post that I do not have the title and 8 of 15 people do. Could it be that I was logged into the site before you released the update?

Same thing happened with Lighting Draw about a moth ago and never got that either. Grrr :)

  • Unsure why I did not get the quick draw title.

After I DLed & Installed I saw only 7 titles with less than a min in on the Quick Draw page. Any Ideas?

  • I like the movement. Really nice addition to the behavior list.

Adding WARP would make a this good behavior great!!!!!!!

  • Sorry if my reply seemed rude there was no ill intent ment. I really have wanted a plugin like yours for a long time, and thank you for making it.

  • Thanks septeven,

I spent two hours trying to get this to work, and now another 30 minutes after your example. Where did you get the System:RadioCheckbox.getIDChecked = 0?

I have really wanted plugin like yours but it is not intuitive at all, well maybe it is just me. Thank you for trying to help me but I just don't get it

  • Oh... I'm kind of new to the whole app/game making thing... Not really sure what that is but Thanks for trying to help. I'll just play around with the things and see if I can figure it out myself. I really appreciate and thanks again.

A capx is the Construct save file. The usual way to post your capx is by putting it (unzipped) in DropBox and posting the link here

  • Amazing example chrisbrobs.

    Tips his hat.

  • Now that I think about it, I need a "random object" function, so that it can make the individual pieces

I think you may want to make all the basic shapes (sprites) in advance, not randomly generate them.

Here is another post on the topic
